  1. I think it was Kelso who said it was unrealistic for fans to think Ragland is completely healed from his injury. He said it would take this season to get him back to pre-surgery football.
  2. Bills are "winning" the draft pick game.
  3. Supposed to be best QB draft class in decades I heard.
  4. So by your own math, logic and reasoning - then the Bills have a much better chance of winning a Superbowl 100-28=72% if they don't draft the first QB overall in the draft next year. 72% is a lot better than 28% So, I guess they should try to win then. See how that works.
  5. The coaches know who the best players are there. Preseason is for letting guys play who aren't starters yet to see how they perform under live fire. Ducasse isn't starting anywhere during regular season. If he does, McDermott will be highly ridiculed.
  6. Tight ends are supposed to be used heavily in Dennison's offense. It is not unusual to see a lot of plays go to them - regardless of who the tight end is.
  7. Wrong question. It's not how many WINS Peterman would need. It is how many losses he would need to get replaced. The answer is probably 1 assuming it comes early in the season. If he is winning consistently and playing well half way through the season, he would likely remain the starter.
  8. Agree. Marino was the better player. Kelly was damn good, but Kelly was on a much better team in my opinion.
  9. Were you really in the military? Must be French military with the way you want to lay down and surrender before the fighting starts. Come on man. You set yourself up for that one.
  10. I agree on the drafting well thing. And to draft well you have to identify NFL talent better than other teams. Ultimately that will be the biggest factor in how good your team is year after year. No matter where the Bills draft in round one next year, whether it is first overall or spot 15 or whatever, it won't matter if they don't identify a guy who is going to become a top talent in the league. If they draft a QB who busts - chances are this entire staff is gone in a few years and we're stuck still trying to find a GM and scouts who can best identify NFL talent.
  11. WTF? Water does't beat rock. Paper beats rock.
  12. 1) The offensive coordinator calls the plays - He decides whether it is going to be a run or pass play except in certain situations. It is not up to the QB unless that QB is given that responsibility - which hardly any QB's are. 2) Some coaches, because of their football philosophy, prefer to run a very pass focused offense where they call more passing plays than running plays. Some coaches, because of their football philosophy, prefer a very run focused offense. 3) Greg Roman has had the single most run oriented offensive philosophy than any other offensive coordinator in the NFL. His strength as a coach is designing a run game. In every single year he has ever been a coordinator in the NFL including his stint in San Francisco, his offenses were always run oriented. That is why his offenses were always ranked high in total running yards and low in total passing yards. Always. (Look it up) - Wait I'll do it for ya. Guess where Greg Roman's offenses ranked in number of attempts and total yards passing each year? Year # of attempts Total Passing Yards Rank 2011 31 29 2012 31 30 (Superbowl Year) They went to the Superbowl with the 30th ranked total yards passing offense. Shows you how much that stat really means = jack squat 2013 32 30 2014 29 30 2015 31 28 Wooohooo! Go Bills - By this stat the Bills had a better passing offense than the 49ers Superbowl team. 2016 32 30 Do you see a theme here? Can you see why total passing yards always ranked low? Because Roman likes to run the ball - a lot - like a lot lot Remember Rex wanting to Ground and Pound? That is why he brought in Greg Roman. Run, run, run, run, run, And then Anthony Lynn (a former Running Back) took over running Greg Roman's run oriented offense. Guess what he did? He ran, ran, ran, ran the ball a lot lot lot lot. = 30th ranked total passing yards. Get it? Notice how correlated the number of attempts are to the total yards passing when you are throwing the ball that few times? It couldn't be any clearer. If you can't see that you are blind.
  13. Even if it was. So what. What does it prove? They haven't been .500 since 2007. How many years do you need to tank? Following the Browns model suggests it takes at least 8 years. And that is if the team is a winner this year which is certainly questionable. Could be 9 years. Can I buy a 10?
  14. I looked it up. It was their tenth game of the season in November last year. Hue Jackson pulled Kessler in the drive after the Ravens just took the lead in the 3rd quarter. Kessler was 10-17 for 94 yards to that point - not exactly playing lights out. The Browns had only scored once the whole game to that point. The score was Baltimore 13 the Browns 7 . That doesn't scream tank when your existing QB is losing the game and you make a QB change. It suggests the opposite. More likely it was Jackson trying anything to eek out a friggin win. Sure didn't look like a tank. Browns flat out sucked - not because they weren't trying to win. --------------------------------------------------- If anybody wants to compare what the Browns did to what Buffalo is about to do right now, look out. Because the last time the Browns had a .500 season was 2007. Have they really been tanking for 9 years? Come on man. And if so, where has that gotten them. 8 years into the tank they went 1-15. Can't wait for 8 years from now so Buffalo can try to go 1-15.
  15. Did they try to go 1-15 last year? I don't think so. And even if they did, they still didn't take a QB with their first pick. They didn't even take one in the first round. Not even close to being the same thing as people are clamoring for around here. Nonsense.
  16. Somebody woke up feeling poopy this morning. Mom ran out of Lucky Charms and made you eat Bran flakes this morning?
  17. Peterman will get playing time unless the Bills make the playoffs with Tyrod at QB. Otherwise - Peterman might not get any playing time ever with the Bills - because if they don't make the playoffs (probably even if they did) the Bills are drafting a QB high in round 1 next year.
  18. Is he going to run down to the field quick and throw on his helmet if Tyrod gets hurt? Better yet - Install a Zip line. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........thump. Ready coach..
  19. Thank you for clarifying coach! Many of us country folk were taught Redneck English in school. Is the same difference as regular English minus the clarity.
  20. Also, very large naked black man seen running from location yelling something that sounded like "Kooooooooouuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaandjioooooooooooooo!"
  21. same difference? They are different in the same way?
  22. First time Stevie pulls a magic marker out of his sock, McDermott will run over, take the marker and shove it up Stevie's heehaw.
