  1. Exactly. I wasn’t singing the praises of Rob Johnson. In retrospect he was clearly a bum. But, when it’s time to move on and it happens hope springs anew.
  2. 1999 Bills 24 th in pass attempts 19 in Yards passing 2 in rushing attempts 8 in yards rushing. The mediocre Titans D Held The: # 4 Colts Off. To 16 points # 7 Jags Off. To 14 points # 1 Rams Off. To 23 points Flutie like Tyrod Taylor needed to go as neither were ever going to take my favorite team to the promised land.
  3. The DEFENSE got those wins, just like TT being handed multiple short field earlier this year. Flutie couldn’t throw a ten yard out by the end of that season.
  4. That was a great game featuring two very good defenses. When I think Flutie and playoffs I think of interceptions in the Endzone and walking off the field a Loser.
  5. Flutie Loses that game OUTRIGHT!!! He doesn’t need the screw job by the officials.
  6. As I’ve been walking around smiling, I was thinking that I haven’t been this happy about a QB since Johnson got the start over Flutie.
  7. Getting the ball out quickly negates the rush. If NP only throws short, I don’t think that helps the run. If he can have some success in the intermediate area 10-25 then they have to back off. Which comes back to the O line and how much it is to blame and how much TT was. They might just have the desire to hold their blocks if it is leading to success.
  8. ? Only the “ Garbage time” that apparently was enough of a final straw for our HC?
  9. Oh, The members of the Cult must be suffering in this darkest of days for them. ” The stats, the lack of interceptions, those wheels?” If those of us who aren’t in theCult would just see????
  10. Wow!!! Who could possibly have foreseen a so so season and a middle of the round set of picks?
  11. Steve Wills definitely blitzes more. Last year was just a post SB hangover year with Cam playing hurt. They are starting to figure it out and hit their stride with all facets of the Veteran team contributing. The NFC South is a quality division which causes them all to stay decent. I’m betting it takes 11 wins to take the South.
  12. This is a rebuild and there remains hope in the next few years providing they draft well. Also, getting a chance to see the young guys get a chance is interesting. Aknowledging that we are not a playoff team doesn’t make you less of a fan or less interested.
  13. Agreed. Still, what is the over/ under on” We still have a shot at the playoff threads.” Between now a statistical elimination?
  14. To my eye, Chargers, Colts and Miami at home are the winnable games. If they lose this week, especially in convincing fashion like the last two weeks, stick a fork in them. It’s all over but the shouting.
  15. Not as good as Peterman??? Woh there fella!!! Slow that roll!!!
  16. Instead of continuing to be a douche by using irony in a sentence I’ll try to explain this simply. QB 1 and QB 2 are facing roughly the same coverage and defensive effort in the last quarter of the game. QB 1 sucks. QB 2 looks good. A fair supposition would be that QB 2 is better than QB 1. The point of the thread is Peterman has QB skills and TT doesn’t therefore Peterman should play. If that’s an agenda, it’s my kind of agenda.
  17. im·ply imˈplī/ verb strongly suggest the truth or existence of (something not expressly stated). "the salesmen who uses jargon to imply his superior knowledge" synonyms: insinuate, suggest, hint (at), intimate, say Hey Kiddies, Let’s use our new word in a sentence: Jauronimo implied Peterman couldn’t be judged due to lack of strong coverage from the DBs.... just like TT had been facing.... and failing against miserably. ?
