  1. I think he said they were both signing. I can't imagine that to be correct now.
  2. And it's really 4 with an ineffective Von. No unit could really withstand that.
  3. My favorite was Winfield. That dude was a physical missile
  4. He's a very good pass catcher as well, which is unique at his size. This is a nice get, IMO
  5. I disagree. Moss is the one blue chipper from that list and funny enough he never won a title. The others were elevated by Brady. How was Welker’s career looking before joining the pats?
  6. The difference is Josh looses his mind when he scrambles. Mahomes seems to rarely get hit, to the point of ridiculousness. Scampering all around and then just ducks out of bounds or slides. Josh on the other hand Turns into Jerome Bettis to the point where teammates and coaches are actually trying to pay him to slide...
  7. A souped up Gabe that can’t separate?
  8. He's a whisker away from a darkness retreat. Or, turn the light on and pop in some ***** film
  9. I understand the weights part. It's like being a pitcher, bulky muscles are not the goal and actually are more of a hinderance. I believe he does work on his base. The film issue is concerning. Most of the greats live it and love the grind.
  10. Fair enough, they are most likely not going to be able to pay both Brown and Smith though to go along with Hurts. You can keep cycling through rookie contracts though.
  11. LOL, maybe we should have them throw in Donald to sweeten the deal
  12. I agree to some extent. But I think this last game provides a good example of the issue. That last pats drive Epenesa came screaming free off the edge and it looked like it was going to be a game ending strip sack. But Mac hit his back foot and the ball was out. Josh doesn't do that enough, he looks for the first reason to escape, spin around, and go off script. And then we all complain about the line. Nothing is easy or on schedule. Like many have been saying forever, just take the layup.
  13. We certainly have had bad injury luck. I think we would be fielding an eilte D with a healthy Tre, Milano, Jones, Von... How would the Chiefs build be looking right now if they were missing Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, McDuffie, and Karlaftis all for the year? While not elite I do think our Oline is much improved. Josh is often his own worse enemy in that regard with his time to throw- it's always among the longest in the league.
  14. My point was not about them specifically, although they are banged up. Just from a roster contractions stand point it's easier to create "the best roster in the NFL" when your not paying an elite QB. The whole idea of the elite QB is to be able to lift up the lesser talent around them.
  15. It seems like the Bills always need this "written off for dead" moment to get the juices flowing. Then they come out with a chip on their shoulder and rip off a bunch of wins. That upcoming schedule looks daunting though.
  16. On the plus side, at least the short week won't impact Allen's level of preparation!
  17. But those weapons come at an expense. If you need to surround the guy with multiple top weapons than maybe you shouldn't be paying him $250M. Go get Brock Purdy
  18. He should but we're in year six. I think he is who he is by now. Take away his running and sometimes I feel like I'm watching Jeff George back there.
  19. Unfortunately the defenses we play are well aware of his strengths as well.
