United Health Care Exec Assassinated in NYC
Orlando Buffalo replied to JFKjr's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Obamacare is a GOP plan? Please explain this thought process? That would like stating government efficiency is a Dem policy. I admit there is not an easy fix for the debacle that has come from Obamacare and it likely will be left for next president because it is not simply reversing Obamacare since we would need to have created some small insurance companies that are illegal currently. -

Obamacare made it a law that you must have "insurance" with a limited number of options. As for Trump I am not sure how he truly fixes it because the market that did exist, low cost plans for actual insurance, does not exist anymore and the people the plans are aimed at now get it free. In 2005 my wife and son had a plan that was $125 a month and covered cost above $5k a year at a 90% rate. That plan does not exist because of Obamacare, and now my neighbors with a child with heart condition are paying $20k just for the plan along with the $5k deductible. I find it hilarious that your comment is I have no idea what I am talking about but then agree that Obamacare is a complete crap show. -

The murder of the insurance company CEO being celebrated is the most distinct proof that liberals are too dumb to know what they actually believe. 15 years ago they fought to make the insurance companies involved in everyone's life because they are so wonderful but now, without anything changing, are celebrating the murder. -
We are entering a golden age for college football...
Orlando Buffalo replied to GunnerBill's topic in College Football
In Florida NIL money for high schoolers already exist, our football stats got $750 each for a Gatorade and they put around the school. Not a ton of money but I bet the Montverde Academy kids get real money. -

I will agree when two things happen-the transfer portal is changed to after the bowl games and players stay and play in bowls, this bowl season looks great unless your team is half transferring and sitting out. Secondly the NCAA just gives everyone 6 years and two transfers. The guys who enroll for 5 colleges in 4 years and then play more somewhere else has to end. Jaden Rashada being linked with 4 schools before starting his second year should be something that does not happen. -
Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Orlando Buffalo replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nacua being a 5th rounder last year amazes me. He balled out and basically whenever I watch him play he impressed me. On three catches yesterday no one was stopping him from catching it because the defense on him was almost perfect but Nacua was just better. The only adjustment we needed was more pressure on Stafford. -

How about the patient and doctor deciding? To an incompetent person such as yourself I am sure that idea is crazy, but you made sure laws were passed that made that process illegal. -
Officials in the NFL are terrible, at least now in general we get the benefit of the crap about half the time. The offsetting pass interference calls was hilarious because neither should have been called. As for the official in the booth, I find them annoying because they often contradict themselves

12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The DL I think is the reason today, they could not get pressure and were invisible for far too long today. Our zone relies on the QB being pressured and rushing throws. Stafford, Nacua and Kupp took that time and destroyed us. The reason I am not freaking out is the Rams balled out today and they still only beat us by 2 points. -

So why do you want government officials to have the power to "murder" people? -

This is possibly the dumbest idea you have presented, why do you believe that a paper pusher should be the one in charge of my health? -

So I said I wanted less of government in my healthcare and your response was how about total government control? Even for you that was pathetic. -

I am actually surprised at how many liberals are on Twitter praising the murder. Liberals were thrilled to ensure that every single American had to deal with these guys. It is almost like no one hates liberal ideas in action as much as liberals. -
I read his comment and it did not occur to me how absurd my expectations for him have become, because it feels anything less than historical is mediocre.

I have had this conversation with my brothers and have had time to hone it down to the roots. They both claim they will admit he is a great coach when he wins the SB, so I think many will .

What Sports have you lost interest in?
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
The more I think about the only sport I watch a lot of anymore is football. College football is starting to become less fun after the top 25 because too many players are planning there next team by week 7. NBA I am completely out of because too many players simply don't care, and I had season Tix for 6 years. NHL is tied to the Sabres being bad for so long. Baseball has killed the "growing with the team" where I could watch 7 guys get good together like back in the 80s and 90s, along with the terrible blackout rules.
