I think you use words in manners very different than the dictionary describes them. I never stated they should capitulate, that is not necessary to have a peace accord. But there also will not be peace only on UKRAINE TERMS, because as you seem to agree Putin is not going to look week in this battle so it will have to have some give and take. As for the Russian young men, I also feel bad for them but their leader started it so less sympathy. As for "the wrong side of history", I am not sure how recognizing the math that the Ukraine is losing too many people is bad. I have stated repeatedly that Putin is worse but Zelynskyy is not an innocent bystander, he needs to figure out a way to end the conflict. If the war goes on for 8 more years the Ukraine will be crippled, Russia will have the whole territory back, and another 2 million will die.

The insinuation that Ukraine can somehow "pursue peace" or "end this war" and remain a country where its citizens are safe and not at the whim of a murderous dictator is nothing but a Russian talking point. Continuing to chew up the young men of their country is not a viable long term solution. Ukraine at the start of the war had less than 7 million men from 18-39 and they estimate over a million dead or injured, they will quickly run out of able bodied men if nothing changes.
