Your 2025 Democrat Party
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Stuff like this does worry me, I don't want a country where one party becomes a permanent power, we are better country when the Dems are competent and providing a reasonable contrast. The last 16 years hopefully becomes the blip on the radar of Dems but it seems like they are going full board -

I understand your point, which is valid, but his firing of employees is constitutional certainly, as far as legal protections that is fine but tell him hoops he has to jump through and be done with it. If anyone has a position that is not able to be fired then that is unconstitutional, so ignore that rule. -

The part that is truly confounding to me is that the judges are supposed to show deference to the executive branch on items that only effect the executive branch, and same with legislature, but here we are with them making themselves the arbiters, which is not their role. Unless they have the right to deny the president the right to hire people they do not have the right to stop him from firing people in his line of command. -
Travis Kelce uncertain of future. Mulling retirement

If what the video I saw from the SB is any indication of his current effort level he needs to retire so he does not get hurt. -
To hell with secure elections
Orlando Buffalo replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fraud either way is a bad thing. These are the items I would like to be put in place 1) verify the citizenship of voters 2) voter ID to vote 3) people must register 30 days prior to election with verifiable address 4) every district must have a plan to count 95% of ballots within 24 hours of closing polls and 99.9% by Thursday midnight. No more waiting so long 5) anyone who breaks one of these rules is punished by a 5 year jail term. If these happened I would respect each and every election and I believe it is about the best we can do. -

If you can define what you mean by corrupted I can answer- you have shown such TDS that I have no idea what that means. I simply want a election where every legal citizen over 18 that wants to vote can easily by simply registering early enough to be verified. FL has done it for at least a decade, other state can do it also. I get paid extra because my numbers are top 5% in the country, state and county. Your comment has more to do with the location you chose to stay in, I am sorry it is such a bad place. -

It is always hilarious to me that liberals will argue having people in a position that they can't do is a good thing. -

I misunderstood your point, and I appreciate it now. I am not sure why he is going against your country so strongly and it is not part of his agenda I like. Nice one- you are factually incorrect and you state you will believe no source over the guy working there. -

Bill your country closed the bank account of the truckers for disagreeing with the government. Many topics favored by liberals are simply not things you can get a mutual solution such as, mutilating children, mass importation of immigrants, lack of voter integrity, and allowing the government to spend us into oblivion. I really am not sure what topic you think there is some common middle ground. -

You stated the government uses SQL, which it does not, ya know the only thing that was mentioned in the tweet I linked. The fact that I have to point out the one topic referenced is what I am referring to might be a sign of mentally slipping. -

It was being discussed by someone in the Clinton administration, it was not in any class. It came up amongst my friends when we trying to be intellectuals at 2 in the morning most likely. As for the Nickels I don't particularly care which way the government goes, but the concept is not new. The fact is we could easily change the coin that is worth 5 cents, so there is no reason it costs so much. Truly making any coin that cost more than it's "value" is insane, so each president since at least Reagan is responsible for this stupidity. -

Not sure if you even read what I wrote, because you are not arguing against anything I said. -

You are actually more bothered by the "bad word" than the fact you were wrong? Tells us a lot. -

I am sorry that is unconstitutional to its core, to change laws to find a way to convict some one is the very definition of a authoritative thug with no morals or ethics. The American people would certainly reject that kind of craven power play You literally are quoting a guy with 8 numbers in his name, which why Elon Musk thinks of you this way -
I am going to kinda of argue out both sides of my mouth here- it is definitely constitutional, and I would have said that before the SC stated it but what is it accomplishing? The big warning is that SBF could happen without it, but he did the biggest fraud of my lifetime right in the spotlight and it allowed it.

The fact that this idea bothers you is hilarious since it is an idea that has been around the government since Clinton because I discussed it in college. It is the question if it is worth the cost of the coin and cost to businesses to deal with them. If you disagree that is fine but to pretend it is revolutionary tell how hl behind the times you are. -

Roseman has permission from his owner the bankrupt the future to win today, which I doubt Beane has such permission. Currently the Eagles have 200+ million of void years set to hit in 2029, we have nothing like that. I hope Pegula give permission to do that this year, rewrite Josh contract to be similar in structure to Hurts, go get Dexter Lawrence(I can dream) along with Maxx Crosby(because Myles Garrett will cost too much). -

Any chance at any convictions on anything you have listed passed many years ago. No ethical prosecutor will try and tie the Clinton's to anything criminal when they can just claim incompetent. Anyone who was a threat to any of this will keep their mouths shut or know it could end badly for them -
Will the FAA exist in 3 weeks?
Orlando Buffalo replied to BringMetheHeadofLeonLett's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This is awesome, you start the post with the dumbest most political start possible and then complain everyone is not smarter than you. I appreciate this is near and dear to your heart but how about an intelligent thought? Do you actually think the FAA is going away?
