EJ got beat by ryan pickspatrick who is absolute trash. Who we rightly discarded. EJ is absolute garbage. Just move on already. This is sad. Yes, sometimes it takes QBs time to develop. But there has to be something to develop. He is garbage. Overdrafted because he is big and tall. Won a few games with a great team arouns him at FSU. Underacheived. What happened when they got rid of him? Oh yeah, they won the national championship. And Hackett... wow. JV is right. What and embarrasment. Other coaches are cracking up watching game film on us. Probably saying holy hell, it's a good thing they are so dumb because they are actually good. Too bad they're too incompetent to realize it. I'm tired of being an embarrassment in the NFL. And that's what this team is right now. When my friends watch the games with me, they are absolutely dumbfounded. If you are an NFL fan and not just a Bills fan, it's quite apparent how unbelievably inept our offense is. The game plan, OC, QB, and by proxy, the head coach, are beyond bad. They are disgraceful to professional football. They should be ashamed that people pay to watch their coaching ineptitude.

Stubborness about Pears will get Marrone fired
DC Greg replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. Honestly guys nothing else matters without anything resembling the most basic competence from our starting QB. Who gives a **** about a RG when EJ is your starting QB. Swing and a miss by the dougs on this kid. Time to move on. -
Week 4 predictions: Bills @ Texans
DC Greg replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, if the Bills score 24 I think they win. Bills 24-20 -
Boy that last one where he didn't see Chandler wide open... c'mon EJ.

After We Crush San Diego
DC Greg replied to You herd it hear last's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think a blowout would be great, but i would also love to see a come from behind win where EJ is throwing down field and making big plays with confidence. I know, he's flahsed it (Carolina), but we're gunna need that typeof play from our O to be really good -
I saw 80% chance. Did anyone see this forecast? Late afternoon or during the game?

Announcers for Bills/Bolts game
DC Greg replied to dascottbills28's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I used to DESPISE Tirico. He knew nothing about the intricacies of the game, and always said the wrong stuff at exactly the wrong time. Now he's the best out there, and my favorite. He does an amazing job, keeps a great rhythm, is exciting to listen to, and banters very well with Gruden (which no one else on the planet seems to be able to do). I gotta say, he has really impressed me. That guy must have worked hard at it, which is pretty awesome. -
Week 3 predictions: Chargers @ Bills
DC Greg replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is a game where the offense is going to have to step up and score 28 or more to win. Rivers and SD are going to score points. There are going to be big plays. It won't be a complete domination by our defense like the past two games. Still think D will play great and force some turnovers, as well, but I strongly believe that just not turning it over for Bills offense will not be enough in this contest. I'm looking for that first big deep pass to break out our passing attack. Flash Goodwin anyone? C'mon Hackett, let's come up with some special for Rivers, Reich, and the Bolts! Since I'm coming from DC for my first game at the NEW Ralph Wilson Stadium, they better win! BILLS 30 bolts 27 GO BILLS -
Not buying it. Beat the kid with a stick and you didn't know that injuries could occur? Just trying to save his image. Have you read the texts he send his baby mama after this happened? http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/adrian-peterson-faces-years-prison-found-guilty-child-abuse-article-1.1938829 Peterson also allegedly said via text message to the child’s mother that he “felt bad after the fact when I notice the switch was wrapping around hitting I (sic) thigh” and also acknowledged the injury to the child’s scrotum in a text message, saying, “Got him in nuts once I noticed. But I felt so bad, n I’m all tearing that butt up when needed! I start putting them in timeout. N save the whooping for needed memories!” "Got him in the nuts once I noticed. I'm all tearing that butt up when needed" Casual, AP.

I can't believe anyone is siding with AP on this. Disgusting. Glad I didn't grow up in some horrible family situation like that, so I could be proud to say "Yeah, I got beat. Look how good I turned out." Sickening. Playing football makes you tough. Athletics teach you discipline. Being beaten and bloodied with a tree branch by a grown man who is supposed to be your idol, role model, and hero when you are 4 years old does not. And it's criminal. AP should be in jail. He is scum.

Seems everyone's on the same page here. Amazing defensive performance and great team win overall. O needs to find a way to get 7 in the redzone and EJ is still improving. These first two games have to be doing wonders for his confidence though. Sooner rather than later we'll find ourselves in a shootout, and we'll need him to be the QB who can score and win it. I'm much more encouraged that he could be that after these first two games.

Well the skinny was what was open. Safety had the post taken away. So even if it was watkins did what a smart receiver does and finds the open space. EJ has to see that too.
-
Was a little frustrated that they couldn't shut down that deep out they kept throwing at him, but Graham is a baller. He makes big plays when he needs to. Agreed, great pick up by Whaley.

Long Late (LOLA) Review of CHI Game
DC Greg replied to BucksNBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You did. I agree with 100% of your assessment. Nice write up. -
Legit points. I said before the season that if the Bills can score more than 24 in a game they are likely to win almost all of those. Hopefully they keep attacking and don't let up. EJ threw big downfield passes to RW and MW late in the game that helped seal the win, so I wouldn't say they have been afraid to throw downfield at all. Let's just hope it continues to improve.

Week 2: Dolphins' Game Preparation
DC Greg replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope the guys playing in the game feel the same way! -
Eric Wood is a strong man. That little shoulder/forearm shot he gave Briggs knocked him clean off his feet. What a block. EJ looked much better. Hope he continues to improve. Kyle Williams made just an incredible play on that INT. It's hustle, anticipation, and athleticism all in one. What a huge play for a D-lineman.

How does this win impact your season prediction?
DC Greg replied to Fadingpain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me, this rules out us going 4-12 or worse/bottoming out that some had suggested. This was a big win, and there were some clutch performances. The talent on this team is clearly there. Our 3 top WRs and ALL 3-4 (!!!) RBs... goodness. That's talent. But more importantly, the Bills finished red zone possessions and won in the clutch. If they have figured out how to close games, the sky's the limit. -
First of all, amazing win today! There are a lot of things about the game being discussed in other threads. Just wanted to touch on the BS personal foul that was called on Chandler early in the game. Perfectly clean block. Hands were inside, it was inbounds, and the whistle hadn't blown. It was a straight up pancake block, exactly the way they coach you to do it. Nothing illegal about it whatsoever. Were the refs just penalizing a bigger player who leveled a a smaller player because he owned him? I think the refs were just atrocious in general today, but this call in particular really burned me. Every year the NFL gets softer and softer. I understand trying to prevent the hits to the head, but it's calls like these that really make you think they are just trying to take hitting out of the game as much as possible. Did anyone else feel this way?

That line was hysterical. I am trying so hard not to laugh and distract our new interns. The fan comments are absolutely priceless. The most passionate argument I've overheard about the Bills this season that doesn't involve Bon Jovi is whether EJ Manuel will be just ok, or not that good. It got heated. Basically sums up a majority of this board.

From Marrone's cancer announcement, to the drunk, falling fan, Deadspin never fails to crack me up with these. What an epic series. Here's 2014's edition: http://deadspin.com/why-your-team-sucks-2014-buffalo-bills-1628452314
