Beane did find Shakir in the mid rounds… most likely a blind squirrel finding a nut but HEY… it could happen!!

Hairston was awesome whenever he was on the field. He had bad luck with injuries, but I highly doubt they are down on him in any way. Beane just loves DBs and rotational edge guys. Hopefully this fits what Leonard needs.

I dunno man. I’m watching what the eagles are doing loading up on weapons for their QB. Already have a good defense because they haven’t whiffed on a million defensive picks like we have. This just feels like the same thing we always do… load up on edge rusher picks early who Beane has proven he can’t evaluate.

I’d have been a fan of just a more traditional representation of the animal. Either just some bison standing in bronze or steel, or some kind of art of them charging. These mechabison with angry eyes look cartoonish to me. I think the stripe looks silly, especially on the little calf. To each their own, but looks tacky and ugly to me.

There is a separate “for you” but they still use a personalized algorithm to determine the worldwide trends. It does not appear the same for everyone. That said, the NFL talking heads world definitely latched onto the Keon comment and have made it a trending thing for sure.

And never underestimate the amount of Bills haters out there. There are a lot of them. They will latch onto anything they can to say this whole organization is a tire fire.

Yeah I don’t believe this at all. Most NFL teams have kooks as owners. Ours isn’t more kooky than others. I think Beane is respected around the league generally, and I think they did a good job today putting the “power play” narrative to bed. I don’t think coaches are going to watch a presser like this and be scared off… I think they would see an opportunity. They know the owner just gave the previous guy NINE years, despite repeated playoff disappointment and questionable coaching. It’s not like Terry has a rep for firing coaches or being overly meddling like other owners. He’s involved, but he lets the GM and coach run the show. No coaches are balking at a chance to coach a contender with a franchise QB because of this press conference. It’s just going to come down to $ and contract terms.

I did. I initially thought both McD and Beane should have been fired, but my opinion started to soften on Beane in recent days and after the presser, I’m very much glad Beane is still there. I think it would have been a disaster for Terry to rebuild the whole thing on his own. I think this is the right move after all.
