It's not always the weather. I've lived in Phoenix for 19 years and i've rarely heard anyone bring up the weather in buffalo or anything else about buffalo. the only reason they would is because they know that's where I'm from and know I still have family there. Do you think people really sit around and talk about buffalo? Nobody really cares, I don't think people talk about other cities either, it's not important. Some buffalonians are so caught up in themselves that they think others are too. They're not. Look at this site this week, so many attacks on Jax, people would freak if this was done to buffalo.

i've gone to quite a few road games- mostly out west since I live in AZ, Bills fans usually are pretty obnoxious, not in a nasty or mean way, just incredibly annoying.

I agree that we sports fans are a little out of control about our teams and maybe lose some perspective. It would be nice if we put more energy into social concerns that impact our lives on a daily basis. However, what Rod Watson fails to address is that many of us are capable of being a passionate sports fan AND function at our jobs and be actively involved in politics or social causes. A few of us may even go to museums. Silly article.

you know it's mainly Bills fans on this site that are saying negative things about the team. I don't hear any of that from the national media. All my friends from around the country are thrilled for us and are pulling for the Bills to win. I have great friends.
