2020 Bills Unrestricted Free Agents
klos63 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Contracts also come off the books, draft choices will beat out some veterans, the cap will rise... it's a fluid situation that I wouldn't really worry about. And we won't sign all our own free agents, no team does that. It's not feasible. -

I still think our line needs to play better although I think they did very well. How do we improve there? -

He's always been inconsistent in my opinion but thought he played his best this season. I still wonder if his position is an area to improve on. -

I just think we need a 2nd RB that would be effective when called upon. Not a huge step backward like Gore became later this season. -
What Changes will be made this Offseason?

Lawson and Phillips are FA's , if we lose them and cut Murphy that leaves a lot to replace on the dline of a top 3 defense. Seems risky to me. If you can replace Murphy with someone better, sure, do it. But you don't just cut people without a replacement in mind. -

Why cut Murphy? Played a great game today. Part of a very solid defense. -

Defensive line decisions to be made. Could lose Lawson and Phillips. That's a lot to replace. Spain is a FA, needs to be addressed. WR is a major issue. -
Where is Tolbert when you need him?

Conservative play calling will get you beat
klos63 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Playing not to lose it such a tired, overused cliche. We made it to the playoffs with a somewhat conservative attack. We can't do things that we don't have the skill set to achieve. -
All receivers run before they catch the ball, that's how most pass patterns are designed. The better ones don't drop the ball though. I think Knox will turn out to be a good player, just needs to be more consistent ,which should come with more experience.

Should we allow assistant coaches call the game.
klos63 replied to BBills88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, that would be very careless, probably see a lot of delay of games on offense, wrong lineups on defense.... , and they are already game planning for the playoffs. -

We need two more Wide Receivers and improvement on the Oline. And another quality RB. -

I'm gonna guess McDermott didn't read the news and will base his game plan on actual film and strategy. -

Not sure this is the defense you want to try these types of plays against. Most trick plays are based off running plays, we need to establish a very strong running game in order to increase the odds of trick plays working. Ground Chuck won a lot more games than he lost. How do we have nothing to lose? I don't understand that. If we lose : no chance of division title, can't beat a less than great Pats team, losing is never a positive thing, we might not be as good as we think we are if we can't win today.
