Lawson and Phillips are FA's , if we lose them and cut Murphy that leaves a lot to replace on the dline of a top 3 defense. Seems risky to me. If you can replace Murphy with someone better, sure, do it. But you don't just cut people without a replacement in mind.

All receivers run before they catch the ball, that's how most pass patterns are designed. The better ones don't drop the ball though. I think Knox will turn out to be a good player, just needs to be more consistent ,which should come with more experience.

No, that would be very careless, probably see a lot of delay of games on offense, wrong lineups on defense.... , and they are already game planning for the playoffs.

I think it's crazy that MLB expands their rosters so much. I think there is good reason to think the NFL rosters should have a couple more active rosters spots, but nothing like what MLB does.

Majority of the players have to play. Who would take their place? We don't have a 90 man roster.

It's not a different standard, I don't care about other teams QB's, just ours. And it wasn't 'an open receiver' it was 2 that would have been for touchdowns and we likely win the game. He is our franchise QB, expectations need to be higher than other QB's, most of which are not franchise QB's.

That's just a stupid reply. Allen missed an open receiver twice which would have resulted in touchdowns. Nobody is saying he should pass for a TD every time they are near the red zone, but yes, they should hit open receivers in the end zone. That's not too much to expect.

why does an incompletion need to be compared to an interception- he missed 2 open receivers for touchdowns. He needs to make those passes. I'm not discounting the good things he does, as I mentioned in my post, but we likely win the game if he hits those 2, and those were very makeable passes.

We need two more Wide Receivers and improvement on the Oline. And another quality RB.

Allen makes too many poor throws. It hurts the team, despite all the good things he does. Nothing wrong with pointing out those misses. There were 2 TD's we missed that most QB's would have made.

Not sure this is the defense you want to try these types of plays against. Most trick plays are based off running plays, we need to establish a very strong running game in order to increase the odds of trick plays working. Ground Chuck won a lot more games than he lost. How do we have nothing to lose? I don't understand that. If we lose : no chance of division title, can't beat a less than great Pats team, losing is never a positive thing, we might not be as good as we think we are if we can't win today.
