  1. but isn't this kind of a reach in itself? A $6 million dollar reach. I just read that no money guaranteed, so not a reach.
  2. Yep, you can't hide a player on the field anywhere. Need quality at all 11 positions.
  3. I would think with Tre on the other side, we would need a very good CB, they'll get more passes in their direction than Tre would.
  4. Maybe during a timeout Peyton could entertain us with the story of how he put his balls on the face of a female doctor that was examining his foot while at Tennessee. Harmless prank, hahaha.
  5. Aren't the endzones in the Ralph east and west? So a north/south runner would not do well in Buffalo.
  6. blue collar lunch pail guy
  7. He's coming off one helluva season. For a 5th, I wouldn't blink. I think he's worth more so I really don't see this happening.
  8. he's only 25. I think his best days are in front of him.
  9. Probably more money, more responsibility and a way to keep him here for a couple more seasons. Our window is open right now, leave nothing to chance.
  10. I agree, you have to look at the market. Can we replace Shaq and not take a step back? We had a top defense last year, need to stay on top while the offense adds pieces.
  11. The Athletic is a very good source for informative articles on the Bills and Sabres. If you are curious about league business , other leagues, other teams, it's a great source. If you're just looking to kill some time and read about sports, it's great. Always something of interest for a sports fan. Worth the $60/year.
  12. That's why it's important to sign your own free agents. You know what you have , you know if he fits in well. Shaq fits in well with what we are doing on defense. I don't know other players out there that are better or will fit in as well for a less amount of money.
  13. The question is where do they see the best position for him. Will they be aggressive in finding a starting tackle to move him to guard, or will they be content with whichever position he ends up in.
  14. Can't sign every player you like to a big long term deal. That's how the system works.
  15. We need a 2nd back that can be about as effective as Singletary. We can't have a big drop off when he's out of the game.
  16. But he played well 5 years ago. First time in many years that I have real faith in our management that I don't worry about personnel decisions and generally don't spend much time thinking about them. If there's one thing they understand, it's how to run a defense.
  17. It would be ok if he actually played well for the last 4 years , but he's been awful and he's 32 now. I'm sure there are much better options out there. What is his value? And based on what? I mean, camp fodder, sure, but no expectations.
  18. after 4 crappy seasons? Gonna be 33 this season. Don't know why we'd be too interested.
  19. I'm pretty sure Anderson missed more than those long FG's. It was a long time ago, but i seem to remember him having an awful camp. I may be remembering wrong. It probably sticks in your head because he would have been our kicker in Super Bowl XXV and well....
  20. Firing Polian Drafting Spiller/Trading Lynch Not improving on Joe Ferguson Firing Wade Trading Rashad Letting Knox go Not firing Stephenson after 1984 2-14 season.
  21. I was thinking the same thing until I saw that he makes $560k a year.
  22. And then we trade Singletary to Seattle?
  23. if the party has a bunch of idiots yakking about commercials, I'll pass on it.
  24. Still can't grasp that people look forward to watching commercials.
