  1. I don't know how one could be a fan of this team if they weren't around for the Super Bowl teams, or at least some of the 90s. They forever forced me to care about this loser team. Free yourself, for your own sanity.
  2. I might turn to Carolina, though Cammy Cam is a very handsome young man that's great at football and 89 is boss. If only the Bills properly tanked in 2010...
  3. No, I'm done with Marrone after the Pittsburgh game. Just another crony hire that will play nice with the real people in charge.
  4. Decker and Pitta won't be available I'd avoid Nicks, he's not nearly as good as his fantasy numbers suggest
  5. Yes Infact, I'd probably like them more because I wouldn't be screwed with taxation theft.
  6. I agree with this. I think Stevie feels like the big fish in a little pond here, and Gailey went out of his way to make him feel that way by giving him freedom that no other WR in the league has. And he's not the personality you want for that situation. There's never been middle ground with Stevie. Most think he's a good WR1 and this fun guy, 1000 yard seasons like that means anything in the current league. And then when he screws up, which he does often on and off the field, dump him. The reality is Stevie is a good possession WR. A fine WR2 to have, with some immaturity issues you need to keep in check. He's a lil' overpaid now, so I don't know what the Bills can do with him. Trade value probably isn't there.
  7. Maybe 1 or 2 names from the top 25 will actually be available. Browner's play dropped this year, but he'd be a good fit for Pettine's defense. I could see the Bills giving him an offer.
  8. I don't know how Russ Brandon avoids more scorn. Ralph Wilson "yes" man The most robotic sounding businessman I've ever heard He refers to you fans as INVENTORY! C'mon! And he ended up signing his head coach buddy that went to his college. Same ol' Bills. Shocking how the only coach that has worked out is Pettine, but I know that actually looking around the league for the best hire is foreign to these Buffalo parts.
  9. Every coach says the same thing. They have a job to do. Marrone drives me nuts because he's going to defended forever for nonsense...
  10. This year, he's struggled. You can put a lot of that on the injury. Late last year, Gilmore was really playing good ball. Noticeably on the field, and also statistically. Giving up on Gilmore is foolish.
  11. This team definitely has talent and the potential to be a playoff team in the future. Defensive line, Alonso, Gilmore, Glenn, Spiller, Byrd... these are top, young talents in the league. But, I agree on Manuel, he lacks the passing ability to be among the best. And if you don't have a QB, it's an extremely uphill battle.
  12. What games has EJ won? Maybe the Jets game. I remain with taking QB in round 1.
  13. The "winning culture" stuff is obvious BS. There's no basis behind any of it. And despite what rust belt people think, the vast majority of players, coaches, etc... out there work hard and try to win. Marrone says that guff because it works on gullible fans. I don't know about the discipline. There's a few guys who act like clowns at times (Stevie, McKelvin I notice the most). And they've been penalized a lot, but whatever.
  14. What this list tells you most is that the majority of the league doesn't value safety highly. I still think the right move is to franchise Byrd and trade him. If you give Byrd his long-term deal which is likely his one and only, that's asking for trouble after what he pulled. Don't forget that there's valid injury worry too with his hip.
  15. College OT won't work for the pros because it could take too long. The DAL/NYG "America's Game of the Week!" was funny. There were like no commercials in the 1st quarter while the GB tie was going on. Dear Leader Goodell can't have such nonsense. I think OT will be scrapped altogether soon. And I wouldn't mind that
  16. If he comes close to the field like that again, take out his knees
  17. Ravens should have been awarded a TD on the play Suspending Tomlin accomplishes nothing
  18. Well, for the Bills, next man up probably works because there's nobody that valuable on this team.
  19. Odds are 8-7-1 would do it, unless a loss/tie is to Miami
  20. The entire Ravens OL is awful this year. They are a bad offense. Good result for the Bills today. If the Chargers can lose a home game, preferably to Cincy this week, and the Jets don't sweep Miami, odds are high they'll control their own destiny.
  21. I'd love to heard the thought behind not keeping Rinehart with a short-term deal and Colin Brown being awesome
  22. The Falcons seem to be getting healthy to me. Roddy's expected to play most snaps for the first time in a while. Their defense is back except for Biermann, and this is their first chance to really practice together for some days. I'm kinda worried that Atlanta finds their game this week.
  23. There really aren't. Other fan bases of these dozen garbo teams think they stink and deserve not to make it. Pittsburgh and Baltimore bandwagoners are the exception, I guess We're teased by an easy stretch of games (or at least was) that we've been targeting all year.
