  1. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens, but don't blame us, blame the league for having this foolish system that rewards being terrible.
  2. It doesn't matter if we think Manuel needs competition or whatever, the Bills are very unlikely to be able to draft a top QB now. And whatever FA veteran QB they might bring in will be trash that's not competition. They may just keep Thad and Tuel. Can only hope that EJ improves next year... after 2 seasons, the excuses are done, though.
  3. If "learning how to win a game" meant anything What did the Bills exactly learn by finishing the game with a JAX botched run at the 1, and Chad Henne throwing the ball twice right at Bills.
  4. Let's put Tuel on waivers and see if someone would take him
  5. I know, but the Bills could have saved cap space for 2015, and so on... I think carryover lasts until at least 2016. I doubt they're spending near the cap next year so get the $10M out of the way this year. For all the negatives with Stevie, we never could question that he'll do whatever it takes to get on the field.
  6. No, it's a win. A minor one that not a soul outside of Buffalo cares about, but a win. EJ proved he's not the worst. I didn't think he was before this.
  7. Yeah, but it was Jacksonville. If this offense couldn't beat Dwayne Gratz and bunch of guys cut from other teams, then it's panic time. At least it's something, though.
  8. EJ is finally connecting a ragtag group of scrubs in the secondary At least it's something
  9. I expected 6-10 because of a poor passing offense, but I'm disappointed because there is talent on this team. Enough to be a playoff contender.
  10. Whaley been fine so far, but he's only had the job since May. I really wanted Caldwell. Not because he's a local guy, but he really seems like a great mind that accepts how the NFL is changing.
  11. No, I don't think they'll seriously fire Marrone this offseason. There's not nearly enough negativity around to cause that yet. But, I do think losing to the Jags would be embarrassing to the point where immediate change may happen. It's not a coincidence that Marrone's been babbling about accountability and PR Man Chris Brown is *hint hint* Stevie will be gone. The scapegoats are being lined up. If Marrone has a shaky start to next year, I think he's next on the hot seat. Or he may have to sacrifice his buddy, Nathaniel. People aren't ready to give up on EJ yet, and this team is talented enough to where people know they're not terrible.
  12. I've listened to more than enough Marrone pressers and interviews to know he never says anything different. Never anything insightful about strategy or what he expects from opponents. Nothing but cliched NFL buzzwords and authoritarian smothering about everyone working as hard as him. If he's the same way with the players, and I suspect he is listening to some of them lately, they have to be tuning Marrone out by now.
  13. Not committed to winning, commitment to team, work ethic, hard working, professionalism, blah blah BLAH I can't wait until Marrone is gone in 2-3 years.
  14. No chance the Bears let Cutler go. Lol at Bills fans thinking he's not good enough to be here.
  15. I said yes, but only via trade. I'd take a 2nd round value. No to cutting him.
  16. The Pats may have more holes than the Bills. There's a lot of positions where they're really weak... WR, RT, C, DT, LB, TE now, they're playing bums at a lot of positions. QB covers many of your flaws.
  17. I don't think anyone has declared EJ a bust here. Nationally, many have. Probably a lot of FSU fans also.
  18. True, but why bother doing that? Maybe the team could have improved and been ready to make a FA splash next year.
  19. Yes. But, I bet that AJ goes in the 1st. His skillset with how much he won in college, some GM that believes in the Parcells method is going to love him.
  20. $$ towards the cap doesn't mean much since the Bills are about $18M below it this year and will probably be the same in 2014 Man, that decision to defer Fitz's $7M dead money to next year makes no sense
  21. I doubt Kubiak will want to come to Buffalo to be a QB coach. He's been a OC or HC since 1995. He should find at least an OC job in the league, if he even wants to stay in the league next year with his health.
