  1. I'd seriously look into trading Dareus, I think odds are he doesn't stay here I wouldn't sell Spiller now, his value is at a low. I don't think the Bills would even get a 2nd
  2. I'm not In the end, this win hurts the Bills Out of the playoffs, gunning for 8-8, ugh It's hard to imagine the Bills in a worse spot. 4-7, team is probably a bit better than that, very easy schedule the rest of the way with barely a mathematical chance to make the playoffs that requires winning at Mr. Belichick in Week 17. All of which ends a middling draft pick, too much hope for Manuel, and blaaaah.
  3. Byrd's a good safety (when he has a financial need to be on the field). I'd love to keep him, but it shouldn't happen. He screwed over his teammates and the fans. He's not worth that trouble happening again.
  4. I'm glad EJ finally had a game that makes me think he could be a playoff worthy QB. Doesn't change for me, I'd focus on drafting a QB in the first 3 rounds next year and have a good competition.
  5. The Bills first TD drive was a vast improvement with a 4th down conversion and two Manuel sneaks that easily worked. Still need a lot more of this from Marrone, though. And the challenge was dumb yet again, but I'm whatever on those.
  6. Really bad I'd fire Marrone ASAP Even worse at game management than Jauron and Gailey
  7. Last offseason, sure. The cap hit would have been too much. This offseason, it's possible. I still doubt the Steelers trade him because they don't have their next QB lined up. And I wouldn't pay whatever I'm sure some desperate team would be willing to offer.
  8. I'm too lazy to find a quote, but I specifically remember him mentioning the QB legacy comment on GR before Manuel was picked and the yahoos bandied about it. And that it ticked me off.
  9. There was some discount considering his statistical value, but Stevie is still the 22nd highest paid WR in the league with a few recent signings bumping him down. He got paid as a mid-low WR1.
  10. I really hope it just wasn't to draft a QB for his legacy, like he said a few times before that. If so, that's how bad teams are run. But, the cynic in me thinks this was the case, considering how reverent the Bills were when Buddy stepped down. Like the guy accomplished anything here.
  11. Not good for a 65 degree day game in November I'll watch online either way, screw your rules
  12. Manuel had a great shot at it, only would have took a decent season. Oh well
  13. I don't know why it took the Bills this long, I noted this soon after the schedule came out. The Bills really got a raw deal with six teams off bye or Thursday games.
  14. It paid off very nicely vs. NO and KC for me I'm not touching this game, though. Geno is the most inconsistent QB.
  15. What's with the Hogan hate... he was clearly the better player all camp and preseason. Although, I don't like that they're barely using him. Would be preferable having a young talent in that role. Rogers' value is way, WAY overstated due to a few games he had 2 years ago. And it's not like he earned another call-up due to great play, the Colts are getting decimated at WR. And note that Rogers was on the PS behind Griff Whalen, another guy who's a "dime-a-dozen", i.e. white and slow.
  16. They can finish ahead of the Jets, but they'd need basically every other team fighting for the 6th seed to not finish 9-7 also because the Bills will be 6-6 at best in the conference.
  17. Complaining about playcalling is foolish 99% of the time To be fair, I think Hackett's in a tough situation here First, your talent is based around 2 great RBs while having good WR2s with Stevie and Woods, a toy to beat a slow backup CB/S with a Goodwin, and a bunch of crap. Not what you want in today's league where defenders can't breath on receivers. So, he has to run a lot. Then I don't know what the deal is with EJ. Can't throw downfield. We're using the read option... where he hands off 90+% of the time because we absolutely must protect him. And then he gets hurt the one time he does run. EJ has to be a nightmare for Hackett.
  18. It's brilliant that the week of signing the new analytics guy, Marrone makes the decisions he did I hate this team
  19. I agree with all those points except Marrone, and CB remains an issue. The negative is that you can have good talent, if you lack it with your QB, you're still a bad team.
  20. Even if the Bills win out, they're unlikely to reach the playoffs. It's over. The optimal draft position would be whatever gets Teddy Bridgewater.
