  1. You can add Bishop to that list. That poor guy had a rough afternoon.
  2. Everybody eats!! 😂😂 On a side note, how pissed must Josh be with this? He will always be a good solider but I’d imagine he was FUMING yesterday with that performance. He was getting his head taken off as guys were blanketed.
  3. I sat up top and watched every route that he ran. Watch the all 22, with an open mind, and come back with a review of his game. It’s incredible. I am sorry that you believed in that scrub and that room in general. My bias was just a sad reality. I thought that the guy was horrendous and it turns out he’s worse than I could have imagined. I’m willing to wager whatever that Mack Hollins will never see 6 targets in a game again (barring injuries). He played himself out of the rotation yesterday. He has 12 targets over the last 2 weeks. He has 3 catches for 32 yards!! If you throw the ball towards Mack, plan on 2.67 yards. To be clear, Josh was bad today. What everyone will see when they go back through the game, they just sent pressure and NO ONE was open. This was not a good game for Josh but there were multiple guys worse than him yesterday.
  4. I am all for a bold move for McMillan or Burden. Trade the following year’s 1 and a 2 if needed. You need a guy AT THE TOP OF THE DEPTH CHART!! We don’t need another “guy to eat.” To get that guy, you either have to use a lot of draft capital or a lot of cap space. Trading down for the next Keon Coleman isn’t an option.
  5. He was bad. Killer penalties. The guards weren’t good. Josh was bad. Brady was bad. Mack Hollins was the worst player. I could see everything from up by the moon. It was incredible to watch. The All 22 will be something to behold.
  6. In a lot of ways this is the conversation. Is the talent so bad, that regardless of how good or bad the plan is, it does not matter? That’s where I leaned when things were good and am further emblodened in that position now. Even if they wanted to “do something differently” they don’t have the guys to get it done. The pass catchers are next level bad. Josh is going to have extra pressure from here on out. No he wasn’t. Mack Hollins was WAY worse. Josh wasn’t good yesterday. Mack Hollins couldn’t have played for ECC yesterday.
  7. Is it weird that I think those guys are better than Hollins and MVS? Nelson had 658 and 5 TDs his last year in Buffalo. Jones had 443 and 3. Those guys were not good but I think they’re better than our guys now AND we have prime Josh Allen. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  8. Yep and it isn’t easy when everyone is playing 10 in the box against you. The biggest fear entering the year was that the WRs would be so bad teams could deploy extra men to attack the QB. That’s EXACTLY how it is, predictably, playing out.
  9. I don’t mean to be Debbie Downer but I’m not sure that there are other options. I guess that they can take the PS receivers and replace Hollins and MVS. You hope that Shavers is an upgrade on Hollins and Hamler gets down the field. You hope for Robert Foster-like lightning in a bottle. Hoping to get lucky is not a great plan.
  10. That is what has been discussed. It will mean that you’ll pay a premium for him. You probably have to go up at least a round or add another asset to get them to agree to pay it. As an example a 3 might become a 2 or you add someone like Elam. I think Hopkins is most likely followed by Cooper and then Adams.
  11. The irony is this IS the guy that he can be at his best. He was a running back in college. It’s the poor design and predictability of his use that’s been bad. He hasn’t been good but he should be used liked Deebo. He isn’t a straight boundary WR. He never was. He CAN do some of that. He also can get some carries. He should catch some swings. He should catch some slants. He should run some downfield routes when healthy. Samuel has been bad. The Bills have no idea how to get him into space. Both are true. For me, I think he is about an 8 touch a game guy. 4 carries, 2 slants, a swing and a streak would work.
  12. Moss led the league in TDs 2 of his 3 years in New England. Lol, he had 1500 yards and 23 (yes 23) TD catches one year.
  13. We disagree that he’s a good football player. He’s a scrub that has been given a chance and failed. Shavers was an elite ST player coming out. That’s how he got here. I’m all for him getting a shot at that WR5/ST role. I’m confident he’s a better WR and a very good ST player.
  14. Welcome aboard!! We’ve been saving a seat for you!
  15. It wasn’t a perfect throw but he should have caught it. Watching him track that ball was like watching Floyd Mayweather reading a children’s book.
  16. This was like when people tried to talk themselves into Peterman for no reason. Shockingly, that too failed epically. When you don’t have talent, you aren’t going to be good.
  17. I’m not sure that cutting him sends much of a message. If you want to send a message, you cut Mack Hollins. He’s on the leadership council. He’s a lovable, try hard, goofball, that everyone seems to respect as a guy. Oh yeah, he doesn’t wear shoes!! If you want to send a message, you cut that scrub too and send the message to everyone that, “if your best isn’t good enough, you’ll be replaced.” Trade for Cooper and give Shavers a chance to be the big physical WR.
  18. Allen was off. It was ABSOLUTELY a function of the 🗑️ pass catchers. The All 22 will show exactly that. It was 80% the trash pass catchers and 20% Josh was off. That might be too generous to the receivers.
  19. I was sitting upstairs and you could see everything. I 100% agree with you. NOBODY was getting open. Josh was onto his 3rd or 4th read. He also got a little spooked because they were so blanketed. He pulled it down a few times. It was painful to watch.
  20. I think signing off on Diggs going and signing off on this group are different things. Clearly, the Bills couldn’t have thought that this group was good enough. They brought this upon themselves though. They were in desperate need of a number 1. Instead of going up to get someone (even Brian Thomas) they went back twice and took a project that can’t separate. They gave Curtis Samuel $8M. They play Mack Hollins 😂. Beane just missed and everyone could see it. There are solutions. The Bills can swing a deal for a WR that’s out there (Adams, Cooper, Higgins, etc). They can wait for the draft and try to land Burden or McMillan. That’ll be expensive but it’s an option. They CANNOT believe in this “everybody eats” nonsense. You win with stars. The Bills don’t have them outside of Josh. They need a guy at the top of the depth chart and these other guys become a little better by sliding into roles they are capable of. Shakir is a good slot and I still believe Kincaid is good (although he has been frustrating). They have no idea how to use Samuel and he’s been bad. Coleman should play but I don’t know if he will ever be good. He gets zero separation but has more of a chance than some of those other scrubs. The solution is to go get a guy at the top of the depth chart and then another guy in the middle of the depth chart that can replace Hollins. Whatever it costs, it costs. It’s one of the most important positions in football. You can’t put a band aid on it.
  21. We sat up top and could see everything. Josh was not good. There was NOBODY open. He was going to his 3rd and 4th read every time. He should have run more but those pass catchers were SO bad today. The tape will not be kind to that group. It was as bad as I’ve ever seen.
  22. If you don’t recognize the WR problem, I can no longer help you. Teams have extra guys to send because the WRs are trash.
  23. I’m at the airport now. Pretty sure that I spotted Amari Cooper waiting for Anchor Bar to open. He said that he was here for a physical and wants to get wings on the way out.
