  1. The reason that Brady is the GOAT is because he has what no one else does. There are a lot of guys that were great but put anyone’s resume next to Brady’s and it’s not the same. He has the stats and the wins. Okay, so we are not going to count the numbers because they are inflated by the era. We can throw them out and pretend that they don’t count but his numbers would hold up in any era. Marino is the stat king but Brady him Trumped. Montana was considered the great winner, Brady has him trumped. They played with under inflated footballs and spied on a Rams practice. If you think that’s why they’ve went to 8 Super Bowls and won god knows how many division titles, I don’t know what to tell you. I have said that it is impossible to argue otherwise and I am sticking with that. If you want to name the guys better we can debate. Right now, I’m hearing a lot of “he isn’t the best” but no one has tried to make a case that a particular player is better.
  2. You are making my point for me. Elway won for 15 years. He won a lot less than Brady did. If you want stats, Brady has them all. If you want wins, he has that too. It’s really impossible to argue anyone else. I would be curious as to whom you would have ahead of him? We can put them side-by-side and even try to normalize it for the era. Brady winning in the FA era though will be difficult to match. Brady’s receivers in that game yesterday were 2 undrafted free agents. One of them was a lacrosse player in college (also Fitz went to Harvard and Jack Nicklaus is Nick O’Leary’s grandfather).
  3. I was thinking about it and if we were to look at the Steelers roster for those years in the ‘70’s and count the number of total different guys it would be about half as many as in the Pats latest run.
  4. FA leads to parity. Teams can’t stay together. The Patriots have won for 15+ years with different guys!! It was way easier to win in the ‘70’s when you could build a defense like the Steel Curtain.
  5. Belichick plays a big role but those other things are weak. It is how we Patriot haters try to diminish their greatness. They have had run that no other team has ever had. We don’t need to like it but we don’t need to pretend that they won because of the refs or deflating footballs. They win because the execute in the biggest moments. Scary
  6. So you think that it is easier to win in the FA era with a hard cap?!?
  7. So they MAY have been able to match his numbers. None of them matched his winning. You are hanging your hat on the fact that they may have matched his numbers (like Brees has). The winning trumps all. Why couldn’t other QBs win 5? Or play in 8?
  8. I get it, Bills fans hate him. It is just asinine to try to make a case for anyone else. He has everything. We should just accept it and hope that he leaves the game sooner than later.
  9. Okay though so throw out the stats (which is crazy but go ahead). How many QBs have won 5, played in 8 and won 3 MVPs?
  10. The rule changes certainly effect his passing totals. His 8 Super Bowls and 5 wins separate him from the others still. He has both the numbers and the wins.
  11. Really?!? Who else played in 8 Super Bowls? Who won 5? Who is going to be top 2 in yards and TDs all-time? Only a few guys have won 3 MVPs as well. I hate the guy but it indisputable. Anyone that thinks otherwise is letting their disdain for him cloud their judgement.
  12. I saw 12th in total points but they were only 8 points behind 10th. I didn’t know how many were defensive or ST points. I dont have the desire to do the research but if you have it I’d like to read it.
  13. Brady is the best ever and it isn’t that close. I wish that he wasn’t but you put his resume next to anyone else and he blows it out of the water.
  14. So the QB wasn’t responsible for the points when they finished in the top 10 even though he scored the most points?
  15. You disagree that points are the most important thing and I’m the one that’s hopeless?!?
  16. I don’t care about “passing offense” I care about points!! The Eagles won the Super Bowl, the Patriots threw for more yards. Which is better?
  17. So were they top 10 in offensive points in 2015 or not?
  18. What are you “Noping?” I need facts not your crazy opinions.
  19. Oh, you are right, they were 12th in scoring and 1 TD behind the top ten. Go dance in the end zone with that. I also didn’t check offensive TDs vs. defensive TDs so I’m not sure that they weren’t a top 10 scoring offense. I am pretty sure that they were but you can provide the facts. I’m going to bed. Please confirm that the offense was 12th in scoring and not top 10 in 2015. I will verify tomoorw. Have a good night!! Fly Eagles Fly! Maybe so, but the question is “who was the best?” The answer is Tyrod and it isn’t close.
  20. Were the Bills top 10 in scoring and DVOA in 2014 or just 2015 & 2016? I’m asking for a friend... Bledsoe sucked, he played 6 good games. After that he was awful.
  21. Not sure what you are saying? Tyrod has a winning record and played in a playoff game. He was 8-6, 7-7, and 8-6. What is your point?
  22. I never lose!! Kyle Orton had WAY more talent than TT did this year. One of them played I a playoff game in a Bills uniform and one didn’t. Take those “L’s” that you are tossing from that played out .gif and have a good night.
  23. He was 15-14, EJ was 0-3. Tyrod won 8 games in 2015 and 7 in 2016.
