Who Is Your Least Favorite Bill of All Time ... and Why?
Kirby Jackson replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. The crazy part is if you exclude those 1st 8 games he was no better than EJ, Losman, Edwards, et al. After those first 8 games Bledsoe’s record was 18-22. He completed 702-1,213 for a 57.9% completion percentage. He threw 39 TDs and 38 INTs. Bledsoe was sacked 110 times in 40 games!!! He also lost 19 fumbles in those same 40 games!! He had 4 rushing TDs in that window. So to recap he had 43 total TDs and 57 turnovers!!!! That is an atrocious 2.5 years!!! He was NOT even an acceptable player after the first 8 games yet some people remember him as a star. -

Maybe I’m a millennial but I love the relationship between Josh and Darnold. They are super close and seem like good dudes. I hope it sets up for a long term rivalry but I picture it more in the realm of LeBron vs. DWade than Yanks vs. Sox -
Ha ha, I will not be. I started this thread for advice. This Super Bowl is really confusing me. So far in the playoffs SF has come out fast, and KC slow. Then KC has gone off. That’s why I’m betting it like that. I’m going to guess SF gets the lead and tries to run it. KC throws it as they are playing from behind. I might be wrong but that’s my feeling.

That’s my only hope. I love the 7 but that 5 sucks. It’s only 4 payouts too so it’s not like you can get your money out on touching squares and whatever. Basically a donation

I have a big square ($500) that I split with a buddy. Just got the number, SF - 7, KC - 5. Gross!!

Mario Williams was a 1st team all-pro as a Bill and averaged 11 sacks a year. It’s not his fault Rex thought he should drop into coverage. -
I’ll probably skip Kelce and Tyreke. It was just an example. Sammy at 60:1 is too much value. If he has 7 for 125 and 2 TDs he will have a chance. Hardman is the Pro Bowl return man. If he busts one he could be the guy. At 50:1 it’s worth a few bucks as well. I don’t think either of those is likely but it’s worth a couple of $10 fliers.

There’s just no value in Mahomes. He is +115, virtually even money. That’s a terrible bet. I’d much rather spread some money across Kittle 10:1, Damien Williams 25:1, Deebo 25:1, Kelce 16:1, Tyreke 16:1, Sammy 60:1, Hardman 55:1, Coleman 70:1 and Honey Badger 50:1. You put some $ on each on a sliding scale (higher the odds the less you spend) and hope to catch.

I did not see it anywhere yet, so I apologize if it’s there. We are 1 day out from the big game and TBD has always been a great place to talk food. I got roped into hosting the Super Bowl Party this year. It is probably somewhere between 15 to 20 people. I’m going to make this as the main dish: Roast Pork Dip Sanwich. It is fantastic but a fair amount of work. Will do some rosemary roasted potatoes, salad and grilled vegetables to go along with it. We will also have taco dip, hummus, cheese, crackers, pepperoni, olives, sundries tomatoes, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, grilled wings, and of course, king cake for dessert. In terms of the drinks, every couple is bringing a bottle of wine and a good 6 pack. I’ll have booze and a couple of cases of “drinking beers.” What do you guys have planned for tomorrow night???

That’s kind of what I’m thinking
-
Yeah, I like those secondary type guys at those numbers. I’ll make smaller bets on it but for $10 or whatever I’ll bet a few skill guys at 50:1 and greater. You hope that you catch the guy that has 100+ yards and scores twice. Watkins, Coleman, Samuel, and Hardman are the types I’m going to look at. I don’t know all of the odds on them but it’s worth a few bucks.

60:1 to be the MVP...he has games where he goes off. He’s PHENOMENAL value at that That’s the line I heard. It’s probably either Westgate or someone like that. You can probably just google it and see who set the line. The lines are pretty universal from the major players. I like that bet

Roughly 26 million people are expected to bet the Super Bowl. They are expected to bet $6.8B. With being said what are you guys betting? I’m thinking: - SF first half - KC 2nd half - SF over rushing total - KC over passing total - National Anthem under 2:04 - A handful of secondary skill players (ie Watkins, Coleman, Samuel, Damian Williams, etc) for MVP

I feel like Tyrod and Fitz took more heat than the other guys mentioned. It’s weird because they were way better than those guys. Now maybe it’s because they were low end starters but that’s still better than mid level to low level backups. -

I can go either way on this debate. I tend to lean TT but see both sides. It was always odd to me that the were so hated when they were here. They were the only functioning QBs we ran out in a 15 year period. If you want to hate on guys, hate on Losman, Edwards, EJ, Peterman, Brohm, Tuel, et al. -
He has a better WR room than Brady. Additionally, he has a vastly superior running game that teams need to respect. This feels like cherry picking stats to put through a narrative that they were vastly different players. They weren’t. They were elite game managers and borderline top 10 QBs. Neither was elite this past year and not really that close.

Brady and Rodgers? Brady: 60.8%, 4,057 yards, 24 TDs, 8 INTs, 88 rating, 52.5 QBR Rodgers: 62%, 4,002 yards, 26 TDs, 4 INTs, 95.4 rating, 53.5 QBR You've made it clear that you love Rodgers but those numbers aren’t all that different. Brees is the outlier of that group (16 game pace): Brees: 74.3%, 4,333 yards, 39 TDs, 6 INTs, 116.3 rating, 74.2 QBR
