Did JP Losmans' downtown loft ever sell?

I lost interest in the Governor after a few episodes, and because of that, the whole Woodbury season was pretty uninteresting. It wasn't unti he had been off the show for nearly a season, and they had the episode where he meets his "new family" that his character was interesting to me, beyond him just being the "bad guy". There are way too many characters on the show, who have been there, essentially, as plot devices...when they flesh them out, it makes them (and the show) a lot more interesting. To my recollection, they haven't really had any real "Maggie & Glen" episdoes in quite some time (when they were both being held by the governor in Woodbury?) just isolated scenes here and there. I think my favorite episodes of this show, ever, after the pilot, 1- the episode where Rick, Carl and Michone find Morgan 2- the Governor finds his new family, post-Woodbury 3- Carl & Rick shack up in a a suburban house, while Michone goes through a mental breadown What the best episodes all have in common, to me, are isolated story lines where we see one of the main characters (or two or three) find themselves in an unusual situation, and how they work themselves out of it. It is a much more satisfying watch, that way. Personally, I have a feeling (not having read the comics) that Michone and Rick will get closer.

From what I have read, Pettine is very much on board with Farmer... of course, I guess he doesn't have a choice at this point.

Bills Introduce New Assistant Coaches
Buftex replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not wanting to start another coach thread...I will fit this in here....Mike Rodak from ESPN asks: "Are Doug Marrone's Bills Too Orange for the NFL?" http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/7189/are-marrones-bills-too-orange-for-nfl Not even saying I agree with Rodak at all, but an interesting article. Personally, I like the way the coaching staff is shaping up! Downing is the one I have the most question about.... -
It's a hoax man!

"Survivor Man"? Yeah..I have seen him ...at least he doesn't claim, without a doubt to have "seen" bigfoot...just experienced some "otherworldy" animal sounds in Alaska. Is there more than that?

I am embarassed to admit, this is one of thiose stories that intrigues me...even though I realize the whole thing is a hoax..sucker for bigfoot and (especially) Loch Ness monster stories... I love the idea of them...

Don't google images, if you are at work... unless you think you will easily qualify for unemployement!

Schefter saying that Haslam was alarmed by how many candidates took themeselves out of the running for the HC job last year, and again this year, in the Browns annual search for a coach...the sentiment seemed to be that few were interested in the job, becasue the "toxic" nature of the Browns front office...so, while it looks bad on paper (and it is) I suppose you can give Haslam some credit for not being so prideful (you listening Jerry jones?) that he can't admit he fugged up.

They may be better off without Lombardi and Banner running the show, but just the sequence of events makes you come to the realization that the franchise is really in disarray. What a mess...every time you think the Bills are incompetant, remember this...feel a little bad for Browns fans, they deserve better than this. When the Bills do finally change hands of ownership, lets just hope it works out...having enough money to own a team does not necessarily equip one with the ability to run it well...

Hard to remember all right now, but I think Lofton was rumored to be "over the hill", while the Al Davis and the Raiders were well into their obsession with speedy wide-receivers, no matter if they can catch the ball or not. I remember when Lofton went into the HOF... one of the voters was asked if Lofton would go in as a Packer, or a Bill. They answered he would make it as a Packer, but they weren't sure he was a shoe-in to the HOF, without his Bills years tacked on to his great career in Green Bay. Also, while we are on it, I have been going back and watching some old 1986-1987 Bills games. It is easy to forget, Chris Burkett was a pretty decent receiver in his own right. As I remember, he was let go because he and Kelly had issues with each-other...it wasn't performance based.

I guess this is as good a place as any to state this...but I think Drew Brees is a fine QB, but kind of douche. He bent his team over the barrell, last season, when they had everything going against them...he got every penny he could, out of the Saints...no harm in that I suppose. But then, as soon as this season is over, he, self-servingly makes a public showing of insisting he will take a pay cut, or re-structure his contract, for the good of his team...then, on top of that, he sticks his beak into Grahams' contract situation. Perhaps my understanding of this whole thing is simplistic, but something about Bress rubs me the wrong way...he has been as selfish as anyone else.

I think that is what jboyst is talking about...not sure about OP!

No thanks..guy has some talent, but is always, always hurt...not reliable at all.

I generally enjoy this show to varying degrees each week, but I think the episodes I like best are ones that isolate on one or two characters, as with this latest. Strong episode. I like that they are giving some of the main characters more back story...better late than never.

Free agent...had been waived by the Raiders earlier that season....

I would say it should have ended after the Trinity killer season...not that I thought it was great that season either, but it took a noticable dip in quality after that...first two seasons were really good...but killing off Doakes was a huge blunder..especially since they didn't replace him with an adversary near as compelling.

Back to the high 30's today....since the begining of the year, the temperatures have been record setting lows during the week, and record highs on the weekends...pretty weird....as if the almighty is aware of the calander!

Sounds like a smart cat. -
Cheer up...I really think we are getting closer to good times again...I haven't felt as upbeat about this team in at least 10 years or so....I relalize the record is still the same old 6-10...but I feel like, if nothing else, there is a different thought process going on with this franchise...better days are getting closer...

Interesting article about Lombardi. Thanks. There has obviously been an issue with this matter in the NFL, in the past. Warren Moon, and other Houston Oilers players have spoken openly about having 2 gay teammates on those early 90's Oiler teams. There has been specualation over the years over which players those were, nobody knows for sure...but the suicide of Jeff Alm, during the 1993 season has long been rumored to have been the result of being "outed". That wasn't that long ago, but it was also a different generation of players.

Yes, a standout for me as well...also loved the highlights of Bennett (#55) harassing John Elway... I remember being at Rich that day, Bennetts' first game...the Bills lost, but it was a clear sign that the Bills defense had just been amped up a serious notch or two...
