  1. It was like ten thousand spoons when you needed a knife
  2. You claim to be British but then you come in here with the Canadian math………
  3. Or maybe Brady is a snowflake and got his feeeeeeeeeelings hurt and took it out on Diggs.
  4. Good post. Regarding 2023 it’s almost like the Jacksonville game represented a change in theme to “complementary football” and the offense got nerfed.
  5. Or it could mean the defense takes a bad step back, which is plausible I suppose. It could also mean the offensive play calling is atrocious which seems very plausible. I think 7-10 is unlikely. We should be better than that but with a bunch of close games, which every team in the NFL experiences just about every year, nothing is impossible.
  6. The ridiculous amount of blame heaped upon Diggs on these pages is a coping mechanism and it’s gaslighting. It’s not reality based. I suppose you can say I’m defending Diggs. I get that. In reality it stands out because the herd mentality is that he is now public enemy number one. Example: There a new thread about the Bills needing to get under the cap. Guess who got blamed. The thoughts I’ve shared on Diggs are more a reaction to garbage like that. What’s next? Inflation? His car burns too much greenhouse gas? Diggs should get some share of the blame for what is likely to be a tough year. So should Beane, McD, Brady the puppet, Von, Dawkins, Cook, and trigger warning…..our QB who still seems to prefer goofing around to preparation but at least he’ll be ready for his Australian vacation now that he knows how to throw a boomerang. I hear you about finding a suitable replacement but that was not realistic in 2024. Next year? Maybe. Until then we’ll have to “enjoy” this group of receivers. Diggs and Davis will still be able to help people’s fantasy teams though.
  7. Bama clinched a playoff spot with a resounding win against perennial powerhouse Western Kentucky.
  8. Perhaps his production went down just as we got a new and clueless OC that deemphasized him? And for the record I’m not defending Diggs; I’m lamenting the fact that we had a viable stable of weapons and now we do not. Diggs has been made public enemy number one for no realistic reason. Did he play a role in the diminishment of our offense? Sure. But so did McD, Beane, Brady, Allen and more. Our offense is weaker. That’s the bottom line.
  9. Diggs is assertive in desire to win. When others on the team react like snowflakes, that’s on them. They might want to consider growing up. I will grant that part of it is on Diggs too. Ideally he would have adapted and been more nurturing.
  10. Cards take two of three in the Bronx but something balanced schedule something.
  11. To be fair, people don’t really fear you. They fear your lentil farts and frankly, it’s more than justified.
  12. Nobody would be a cap drain if they performed miracles. Miller has been an incredibly poor investment. It can be argued he cost us Tre White and Mitch Morse and we’ve received nothing in return. But sure, maybe. Maybe you’ll hit Powerball 26 times in a row too. Questionable means unknown. The root of questionable is “question”. The word you defined above is “substandard”. I didn’t use that word. You needn’t look farther than the weekly injury report. Sometimes questionable guys play and sometimes they don’t. Disagree with me if you wish. Fine. That’s the whole idea of opinions on a message board. Don't get SOTeary eyed about it and put words in my mouth.
  13. Then he should get it fixed. He cab probably afford it. But how do you know what his gate looks like and why are you commenting about it when the topic was how he runs? It’s a little creepy.
  14. Shirley you can’t be serious about this? Douglas, a vocal leader with GB, at first expressed shock at being traded. Since then it has basically been crickets. His entire personality has changed. I haven’t seen any serious talk about an extension. He hasn’t played badly but when you heart isn’t in something, you don’t get your best results. He’s biding his time until he can walk.
  15. I agree with all of the above plus: McD will realize his overall philosophy is flawed and hire a real OC. Allen’s talent level will attract quality candidates Allen will realize he needs a true commitment to his craft and his leadership and will take that step. No more fun only mentality. That should set us up well because at some point soon the Dolphins will be in cap trouble and the Jets won’t have a QB.
  16. I’ll just do some. 5. Cook 1117 6&8: Shakir in a slight upset over Kincaid who also has a good year. 10. The OC being clueless 15&17 Rousseau 22. for about three plays and he’ll get hurt yet again 24. Too much cap to cut him. He won’t be great but not as bad as people are saying
  17. I think all three of the perceived division leaders have high potential but all three of them need a lot of health and luck to really be contenders. The Bills to me are the best positioned to move forward in 2025 when they are likely to have a real OC, but this year’s AFCE winner is not likely to be a true contender. I agree that NE is 4th.
  18. Preseason = LOL PFF grades = LOL LOL * LOL = LOL squared.
  19. It’s pretty well documented that I’m not a huge fan of bicyclists on the road but this is clearly a different situation. If the bikes had lights they weren’t stopping a drunken idiot hell bent on passing to the point he was willing to pass on the right……and presumably at least partially on the shoulder….and presumably at high speed. Drunks suck..
  20. Because Brady is clueless beyond the run game.
  21. Come on dude. There were better ways of working “happy ending” into the “stick shift” thread. You didn’t even try to mention Bob Kraft? Weak.
  22. Spoiler alert: We’re not a passing team. We’re a “complementary” team.
