Being at the game gives you the ability to better analyze a player than on TV, but unless you know what his responsibilities are on each and evey play, you are only guessing as to whether he is good or bad on any given play as far as being in the right place.

I'm not sure how a Bills championship would "mean more" on a national level. What does that even mean? Personally, a championship by either the Bills or the Sabres would be one of the greatest days of my life and what the rest of the nation thinks(good or bad) is irrelevant.

Bledsoe...what a great team guy...

Don't worry about turning the page. The book on Bledsoe is nearly finished. -
What a dick. Get the F**K out of the NFL if you can't be an asset to a team as a backup, go to Montana and hopefully never be heard from again. December 10, 2006, 08:31 Cowboys :: QB QB Maddox Works Out For Cowboys Mac Engel, Clarence E. Hill Jr., Fort Worth Star-Telegram - [Full Article] The Cowboys brought in NFL veteran QB Tommy Maddox for a workout, according to a source. It may be an attempt by HC Bill Parcells to motivate backup QB Drew Bledsoe, or simply an effort to add depth. Parcells has said he is concerned about Bledsoe, and that he is not comfortable with #3 QB Matt Baker playing. Earlier in the week Parcells expressed concern about Bledsoe, and his preparation since being demoted.

178 yards and 2 TD's. If he didn't win the game for them, I don't know who did?? -
Again the Defence needed to step up and failed...

To me, the most disappointing part of the drive by far, is that SD was forced into a 3rd down situation only once... 1-10-SD20 (11:32) L.Tomlinson up the middle to SD 21 for 1 yard (K.Williams). 2-9-SD21 (10:52) P.Rivers pass short right to E.Parker to SD 31 for 10 yards (C.Wire). Out pass, caught at SD 30. 1-10-SD31 (10:15) L.Tomlinson left guard to SD 29 for -2 yards (R.Denney). 2-12-SD29 (9:39) P.Rivers pass short left to E.Parker to SD 37 for 8 yards (N.Clements). Caught near sideline at SD 37. 3-4-SD37 (8:52) P.Rivers pass short middle to A.Gates to BUF 44 for 19 yards (L.Fletcher-Baker). Caught on run at BUF 48. 1-10-BUF44 (8:12) L.Tomlinson up the middle to BUF 35 for 9 yards (K.Thomas, K.Simpson). 2-1-BUF35 (7:33) L.Neal up the middle to BUF 33 for 2 yards (T.Anderson; T.Spikes). 1-10-BUF33 (6:53) L.Tomlinson up the middle to BUF 30 for 3 yards (T.Anderson, L.Fletcher-Baker). 2-7-BUF30 (6:10) P.Rivers pass short right to A.Gates to BUF 20 for 10 yards (D.Whitner). Caught along sideline at BUF 20. 1-10-BUF20 (5:26) L.Tomlinson right end pushed ob at BUF 13 for 7 yards (D.Whitner). 2-3-BUF13 (4:57) L.Tomlinson up the middle to BUF 3 for 10 yards (K.Thomas). Key block: L.Neal. 1-3-BUF3 (4:17) L.Tomlinson left guard to BUF 2 for 1 yard (L.Tripplett; L.Fletcher-Baker). 2-2-BUF2 (3:31) L.Tomlinson left tackle for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN. -
Consider the alternative...Male doctor with huge hands! My primary doc(female) moved out of town a couple years back and the prostate exam hasn't been the same since then.

I just can't make up my mind which smilie best represents how I feel about CW as a starting LB...

A year or two back there was a poster or two here who would not relent in their belief that they could make more noise standing up then sitting down.

The high standards of some only exist on this board. If they were ever face to face with the girls who have been deemed ugly by the TSW studs, and got invited up to her room, they wouldn't be able to get up there fast enough.

a 3 degree change! OMG does this mean the Bills won't have the "weather advantage" anymore?
-
This is how I would have described hockey crowds(specifically the lower bowl) before last season. The quiche eaters who had been there since the early '70's had lost their enthusiasm for the games and you needed a crowbar to get them out of their seats. Now it seems like a new group of fans has taken over the arena and it is like a playoff atmosphere each and every game in both the lower and upper bowls.

Good point. $75 for a piece of vinyl is a f***ing bargain.
-
My 2 cents on this is that there are extremists at both ends and then the majority of folks somewhere in the middle. At one end you have the guy who wants to stand as much as possible either because he wants to show everyone else that he is "superfan", he is drunk, he is obnoxious or all 3. He also feels that he is the only person in the stadium. At the other end you have crusty old season ticket holder who only stands up to go to the bathroom or leave the game. He knows more than you do because he has been a season ticket holder for years, therefore, only stand when he does or he is going to let you hear about it. In the middle(the majority) are fans who like to stand up and cheer on 3rd down, in the middle of a big play(see Lee Evans TD's against Houston) or at other select key points in the game.

$149 each!!! Pretty damn expensive piece of vinyl! fathead

I can't wait to see the video of the new display. Starts 12/2. http://www.pulsejournal.com/e/content/oh/i...ghts_index.html

Part of the problem is that they don't have enough guests on(outside of the regularly scheduled weekly guests). If they scheduled more guests, there would be less time for the off topic crap.

Stop with the common sense! The weather will be a HUGE advantage for the Bills!

Classic Shoop...just looking for a reason to B word about the Bills or the NFL in general. I'm outside listening to the radio while putting up decorations after the game. Here I expect them to talk about what a good win and exciting finish it was and all Shoop can do is WHINE about the game being blacked out. F***ing primadonna!
-
How good is he you ask??? Seeing how he hasn't set foot on the field yet speaks volumes. Maybe he will turn it around next year, but it looks like this year is a wash.
-
Weather will not be the deciding factor. If it is cold, blowing and snowing, BOTH teams have to play in it. Furthermore, it's not going to be -10. 30 degrees isn't going to make the Chargers forget how to play football. On th eother hand, the Bills ability to stop the run and play turnover free football will go along ways in determining who wins the game.

You are right in that it should not be that difficult to correct. -
Michael Vick strikes again
LabattBlue replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard this on ESPN News(or one of the other ESPN's) last night...After 6 years in the NFL, the Falcons still won't allow Vick to change a play at the line of scrimmage. Does "dumb as a bag of rocks" ring a bell.
