WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP...YOU'RE DREAMING.

- Makes the HC and OC look better - Can put up huge numbers of points on a day when the defense isn't playing well - Makes his WR's look good - A few bad zebra calls. No problem...I'll just complete a big pass on 3rd and forever - Game on the line late in the 4th quarter...here's another comeback Until we have a franchise QB, this 5-11, 6-10, 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 crap will continue no matter how many times they change coaches, players, GM's, team presidents, etc...

Ragland, Dareus, Lawson, Lawson

The defense only gets worn out when they can't do their job and get off the field...like almost all of the game yesterday. -
How is Pegula going to salvage this mess?

Your preaching to the choir....especially the bolded part. I know it is his team and he has the right to be involved as he wants, but it is absolutely the worst thing for the organization. It is not a toy...but then again no matter how badly you f*** it up, it will make you wheelbarrows full of money. Who is going to make him see the light that the more removed he is from football operations, the better off the team will be? My guess is no one.

If you were on a 5 year 25 mil contract, would you resign?

Bills need to Tank like the Sabres
LabattBlue replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have had two chances in the last 5 years at drafting "elite" players...Watkins who can't stay healthy and when he does manage to, the QB ignores him, and Dareus the mental midget. -
Isn't that the benefit of a "shutdown" corner...they can cover their man one on one allowing the safeties to cheat to the other side and help out other DB's? Doesn't Gilmore fancy himself as a "shutdown" corner?

The Pegulas only have to know one thing...hire a person in charge of football operations, who makes ALL football related decisions. After that they should get the f*** out of the way, and insist that they have no say in anything football related unless it involves $$$ outside of a set budget. That means no sitting in during interviews, no watching film with the coach, no having beers with Rex....NOTHING. -
Jonathan Williams...oh that's right, he has to be ACTIVE in order to play. Instead dress Bozo Felton for his 1 or two plays a game.

WTF this game is not this difficult Roman
LabattBlue replied to BillsMafiaWA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While some of Roman's calls were head scratching, he was the least of their problems last night. -
If the Pegula's were in favor of hiring Rex and/or the primary decision makers in the hiring of this clown, I don't feel bad for them at all.

No team is ever 100% healthy. At some point during the year players are hurt. It's up to management to decide if they want to use said injuries as an excuse to why a season went up in smoke.
-
Even so, he still got "chummy" enough with the Pegula's that they named him prez of the Sabres.
-
PT Barnum aka Brandon was a marketing/PR whiz kid, and used his former position to move up the company ladder to Team President of the Bills AND Sabres. Pretty quick and sudden climb. I wonder if he was able to con Pegula into a small percentage of the team much like Larry Quinn did with former Sabres owner Tom Golisano? Wouldn't surprise me one bit if it did happen. Like I said in a post yesterday, get comfortable with him because unless he chooses to leave on his own accord, he will be here for a very very long time.

You can't blame the FO? Really? The guy already had an off the field track record(drag racing in broad daylight on a main st and synthetic marijuana) when they handed him a 100 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT. Yeah...can't blame them for giving him that contract. He was quite the choir boy at the time.

If you could pick just ONE player
LabattBlue replied to SinceWarMemorial's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lot of reading comprehension issues in the replies to the OP. -
How did Gronk go from making the 53 man roster AND being active Week 1, to being cut and not even signed to the practice squad?
-
I wouldn't touch Saban with a ten foot poll. He is so set in his ways dealing with college KIDS, that I think he would be out of touch dealing with established vets after so many years at Alabama. Not to mention his age. I'll pass, and I think so would he. He has the world by the balls at Alabama. Boosters lapping up his every word, recruits tripping over each other to sign there, perennial powerhouse, etc... He'd be nuts to even give it 5 seconds of consideration.

Where was all the angst over TT in the offseason, or is this doom and gloom all over ONE bad game? -
Need a local's input...

Not sure how reliable, but Maria Genero(WGRZ) is very easy on the eyes for a woman in her 40's/early 50's(Im guessing at her age). -

300 yard passing games has a direct correlation to how many passes you throw in a game. TT's YPA was better in 2015 than Brees, Newton, Eli, Brady and many other above average NFL QB's. Does that mean all they do is checkdown? You beat me to the punch. -

...in week 1, or each and every week? Sure didn't seem that way in many games last year? -

I'm just pointing out how easy it is with slo-mo and an aerial view to say "look at this video and see how open this guy is"? Yes he sucked. Did you see my disclaimer at the top of my post? Having access to "I want to be a coach" film website, makes everyone a player evaluation expert. -

DIsclaimer...TT needs to play a LOT better. In hindsight it is easy to see an open WR from an aerial view of NFL Films. You think it is that easy on the field standing behind huge OL, with equally big DL breathing down your neck, with a split second to make a decision? I bet if you look at film for every team and every play, even the best QB's don't always find the open WR.
