Packers pass rush has been solid today. Idk how much they’ve actually gotten home but they’ve been a constant nuisance -

Right. You can never over throw an open WR deep. In todays NFL that is a no no. Picks happen, but IMO, it’s because they are scramble drill last ditch efforts to make something happen. That was a pure, pocket shot of the gun. Find the 1v1 match up and put it up short. We are either missing deep or throwing into double coverage. -

I think it’s the right idea here. Plenty of chances to stop the clock with those time outs down the line. If they didn’t convert, not much time left for true pack. -

Tend to agree. That being said GB run D has been stout, just missing tackles. Can’t leave plays on tge field vs this team. Need to finish. -

I think a quick alignment adjustment in terms of technique and that’ll be the end of those gashes. Early success was great but blocking their premier players with TEa and WRs is not a sustainable plan. Im guessing they’re trying to get Bosa and the DL out of the wide 9 with their devotion to the interior ground game. We’ll see if they bite -

He’s a UFA this offseason. We’ll see if they want to bring him back or go outside the organization but I do agree one of the currents will likely stay on

I think a guy like Hyde is really up in the air dependent on how this season shakes out. If the Bills win the big one; he likely rides out into the sunset hangin them up. If they fall short, I could see him come back to Buffalo on a one year deal, taking a very friendly cheap deal. He may not even be a starter anymore in the future, especially considering his lingering injuries that never seem to go away. Poyer has been frustrating at times, taken bad angles, missed tackles but also has made his fair share of plays. As much as I think they could get younger and faster here, I wonder (as some has suggested) they almost stagger the departure of the safeties to keep one on to try and bring up the next generation with some on the job training. Poyer/Rookie with Hyde mixing in at times in 2024. Rookie/FA in 2025 I’m not a fan of Rapp

Friday Official Injury Report
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
https://www.chiefs.com/news/divisional-playoff-injury-report-chiefs-vs-bills Nose Tackle Derrick Nnadi ruled out, as well as the recently activated from IR Skyy Moore. Questionable designations to a pair of WRs in Toney and Ross. A relatively clean sheet for these guys, but losing their starting caliber DL must burn. Edit: Back up tackle Wanya Morris also ruled out with a concussion it appears he sustained in practice? Full participant earlier this week, then limited, to DNP and ruled out. I left this off initially as he is not in the starting 5. On second thought, I came back to add him after recognizing it was Morris who faced the Bills (many say admirably) when Donovan Smith could not play. Likely a non factor but in the event of an in game injury, they’d be down to their next option. -

I like this idea as well as we’ve seen it on longer downs and distances, but I do not think this is in the cards this weekend. I’m guessing a ton of two high looks. Estimating cover 2, 4 or 2 man. One of the knocks on him was his ability to make clean drops in zone coverage, recognizing route schemes, IIRC. It’s a shame we shouldn’t be pressuring the QB this week, because if we were; this seems like the guy to do it. QB spy on 3 man rushes? It’s started to make a ton of sense as to why they wanted him playing WLB behind Milano. They seem to share similar characteristics in terms of athletic ability and physicality. Now we know Bernard is a dog, and can run the show and diagnose, Williams seems to be the guy to allow to roam free and just play in space cleaning things up.
