Yeah those were the exact articles I was reading that had me confused. I understand how prime time channels work on YouTube. I’m just asking is there a monthly fee just for using prime channels in addition to whatever channels you subscribe to on there obviously.

Can someone who has YouTube tv explain the difference between YouTube tv and YouTube prime channels? Since these will be the two options for Sunday ticket. Everything I’m seeing online says the cost for either service is $64.99/month. Is that accurate? Doesn’t make sense to me. Shouldn’t prime channels have a lesser cost since it’s not the same product giving you lots of channels like YouTube tv does?

Colts are such a sh*tshow. I’ve always detested their fan base since they booed Luck when he retired. And Irsay is a terrible owner, so I love what’s happened to them. Saturday’s hiring was a joke and the final nail in the coffin for that franchise. They are destined to be very bad for years to come. Love it.

Agree wholeheartedly. But it doesn’t sound like that is going to be an option. The whole reason YouTube tv is doing this deal and spending billions is because they are already counting on all the $65/month subscriptions they will get now due to the Sunday ticket.

Right, I just moved into a new house a few months ago and now am locked into a 2 year agreement with Xfinity cable. There is no way I’m going to add on $65/month for YouTube tv in addition to the cable bill im stuck with for 21 more months. You can always count on the NFL to do the wrong thing when it comes to fans and their desire to stream games.

Google/you tube would have been my last choice to win this bid for the exact reasons Chongji just listed in the article from Fox. If all this is true, this will cost way more than had it gone to Apple TV or Amazon. Sounds like people will now need to commit to YouTube tv for $65/month and then most likely additional cost for Sunday ticket. It will basically be just like it was with DIRECTV. Paying for the monthly service and then throw on 300-400 a year for Sunday ticket. All the NFL has done now is go from one stupid, costly, unfair business model of streaming NFL games (DIRECTV) to an equally stupid, costly, unfair one (YouTube tv). The only winners here are those who already subscribe to YouTube tv. Everyone else is no better off than when it belonged to DIRECTV
