I know what my worst NFL gift was...after watching my younger brother open a Buffalo Bills rain poncho, I was excited to open mine. That is until I opened it and found it to be red in color, turned it around and it was a 49er poncho!!! What was my mom thinking?? By the way, that was about 40 years ago.

Kap did play last week after Smith got hurt, but wasn't as successful as Monday night. Maybe the week preparation had a lot to do with it. Anyway, the 49ers will not trade Kap unless they are getting Luck in the deal.

I don't even watch full games any more on Sunday. The NFL Redzone show has spoiled me, no more commercials, 100% football action and information. Maybe that dulls the senses on specific teams and lets me enjoy the NFL as a whole. If the Bills moved, I would still be an NFL fan.

I followed the Buffalo Braves to San Diego to Los Angeles. They are still my team, but the local Warriors are catching up. I would assume if the Bills moved, I'd still be a fan, but after a while, I may change allegiance.

I'm 50 and have been a Bills fan for as long as I remember. I guess I really got in to it when Braxton and Simpson were in the backfield. We moved to the West Coast in 1970. Even though my allegiance in baseball went to SF, I kept my Buffalo Bills, Sabres & Braves. I handed off my love of the Bills to my son, but by the time he was old enough to play video games, he fumbled that love and went for the popular, hot, 49ers.

I saw him in that game too. He seemed to be much better in that game before his ankle injury than after.

Fitz...didn't get to see him much, but when I did recently, his throwing motion seemed off. In order to get any zip on the ball, he's had to throw his whole body in to the throw, even on a short pass. It doesn't look right.

Yep, add that to my SF Giants not wanting to spend $'s on any offense, and the Clippers being the Clippers, my four sports seasons are pretty uneventful.

The 49ers have only played 2 games against the NFC West so far. Sure, the rest of the way looks easy with 4 against the NFC West, but they have played the Bengals, Cowboys, Ravens, Lions, Giants. And, they beat the Bengals & Giants.
