6-3 game, the only thing I got to see on NFL red zone was Cleveland downing the ball on the 1 or less. Well, other than the muff and game winning field goal.

I keep doing it too, ever since the end of the game, and that was around 1:15 out here on the west coast.

It is the best. I didn't have to watch the Raider game this morning, but caught all of the games when the excitement happened. It's a live SportsCenter.

The Giants' problem is throwing large contracts at multiple over the hill players when there wasn't a demand for them in the first place. So, instead of trying to win the World Series with good acquisitions, they are content with being "competitive" while filling the stands and bringing back popular players for nostalgic reasons. Sounds like a business decision to me.

That's what I do like about the SF Giants. The guys they bring back are not really coaches, but assistants or part of the team in some way or another. They have McCovey and Mays, Will Clark, Krukow, Kuiper, Snow etc.... all part of the team. It's good to see.

I recently saw a mock draft on PFW that indicated the Bills would get Curry with their #11, and Clay Matthews with #28.

Watch out for "due diligence", the SF Giants have been saying that for years and following up with dumpster diving old hacks. Hopefully the signing of T.O. will make other players at least think about the Bills as a possible destination.

Which is better, to be like the Bills and not even talk about the good players available, or to be like the SF Giants and give hope to your fans that you are really interested in the good players, but then knowingly offer much less than those players are worth. Thus, we offered, but they didn't accept. And then go dumpster diving during a youth movement and sign players over 30? Lucky me, I get to have the best of both seasons!!

My age is 46, and I'm a Billaholic. I have been since the early 70's. In that time I've probably seen more bad teams than good. I'm optimistic that some day the ball will bounce the right way; the field goal post will blow three feet to the right at just the right time; or that every one of the Bills players will play up to their draft position or better. Until then, I'll keep working on my addiction to some of the worst front offices in all of sports.....Buffalo, Los Angeles Clippers, SF Giants.
