Doing stuff around the house this morning. Coaching my son's (13 & 14 year olds) little league team for a game at 11:30. Will have to go in to work later in the afternoon to process payroll. Probably end with a lazy night of watching a movie with the family. I get to start it all over again on Sunday. We have another game at 11:30, making up a rain out. This is a tough weekend, we are playing the two best teams in the league, but due to the pitcher rest rule, we can't pitch our best on back to back days. Then in the evening we have our little league picture day.

I think it would have to be Fenway Park. My son really wants to go there. We're very lucky to have SBC Park in SF. Besides usually having a pretty decent team, the view, especially in the upper deck, is awesome.

How many of you stayed till past the credits? I bet you don't even know about the wedding scene with Nap's brother and LaFonda. Most people leave during the credits and miss it. It's about another 5 minutes of movie. Did anyone else think LaFonda was going to be a guy? I thought for sure they were going to go with that twist.

No Garcia, please! Even as terrible as the 49ers qb's did this year, there wasn't any "if only we still had Garcia" talk. He was perfect for throwing a two yard slant to a receiver on a five yard slant.

How many at the game today saw 49er RB Barlow go crazy after his big runs and touchdown late in the game? Did he not see who he was playing against, and remember what a horrible game he had up until then against the Bills #1 defense. I loved it when the Bills players kept pointing to the scoreboard.

I don't see them keeping the #1 pick. They need too much help, some of which will be corrected next year with the injured coming back, especially on the OL. They'll either trade the #1 pick for multiple picks, or players.

It was a terrific game to go to! One endzone seemed to be all Bills fans, but there were Bills fans all over the stadium. We had probably 10 in the area around us at the 50 yard line just behind the 49ers bench. I'll give it to the 49ers fans though, they are nothing like the Oakland fans. There seemed to be no problem wearing the Red White and Blue in their stadium, they were all cool about it.

It's terrible here in Northern CA, bright and sunny. Clear and 69 degrees, with 11% humidity . Over the last few days we haven't even needed long sleeves to go out in the morning. They are expecting rain late Sunday, hopefully after we've watched the Bills run over the 49ers from 7 rows back near midfield. Gotta love those season ticket holders that can't make the games!

I've been relegated to coach and part time C/OF on our Mens softball team. Just don't have the same desire to play that sport as I once did. However, at 42, I can still zip a football around. I love playing in our flag football leagues, and weekend pick-up games. Nothing better than to hear young guys on defense say that they'll sack me everytime. Many touchdowns later, all the young guys are yelling at each other and shaking their heads saying "how are we losing to these old guys!".

Word around here though is that Dorsey may be playing this year to save his job. They like Rattay and really like Pickett and may select a local qb (Rodgers) if he comes out early. That leaves Dorsey out.

So, is it just an NFL rule among the NFL teams that they can't pursue coaches from other staff's while the season for that team is still going? I remember that the Bills couldn't talk to Weiss before NE was done with their season.

This is the 1st game (other than the Raider game) that I won't be home watching the score ticker in the upper right hand corner of a regional game. We're getting my brothers and friends along with their sons together for a 10:00 game of football ourselves. I'll wait until I get home to take peek to see how the Bills did. Seems to me it will be alot less stressful that way. It's my sons' 14th birthday, and this was his birthday "party" wish, to play football on his birthday. He doesn't care about the NFL games being on when we're playing, his 49ers aren't on until 5:30 that night. My predication, since I won't be paying attention, the Bills will roll 9-3. That's 3 FG's, not a missed extra point on a .......what's that called again, it's been so long?

164 all positive. Only had one bad experience when my son bid on a video game from the UK. They said it would work on his system, but it didn't. We sent it back hoping to get our money back.....DOH!

That was close to my neck of the woods. I was actually kind of concerned about them using the big tarps or whatever over the swimming pool. With the winds that sometimes kick up, I think it would have been safer and better to go with a sturdy cover like they did at the front entrance. The barn even turned out terrific. They are sitting on a gold mine with that kind of acreage in this area.

Dang Rockies, win one game against the Dodgers or Astros and the Giants have a chance to get in. Dang Giants, spend some money on a closer and you're in for sure. Not a good weekend in Northern California: A's and Giants get eliminated and Raiders and 49ers both lose. Go Cards!
