The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump
IDBillzFan replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's a good thing Kamala Harris has freed up her time. Well done, Dems. I didn't think you'd be stupid enough to do this...yet here we are. Thanks for everything. Sincerely, Trump/Pence 2020 Re-election Campaign -
What % do you think we have a chance of winning?
IDBillzFan replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have some sense of confidence in our coaches to develop a solid defensive strategy. Design doesn't always equate to execution, and I'm not going to lose my mind if we become the next in a long line of teams the Ravens run all over, but I feel like the Bills should be competitive, at the very least. That said, Ravens fans have every reason to believe their team is unstoppable because it pretty much has been for the past eight weeks. Their biggest concern should be the number of hits Lamar takes because he takes a bunch of them. -
Nobody who can think for themselves cares about this at all. But it only takes a few people; one to write about it under the guise of "some people are concerned about (fill in the blank)," one to publish it and one to push it, and ultimately you will be made to care. That Rudolph story is a perfect example.

What do you think of Millennials?
IDBillzFan replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Ten pages and no one posted my favorite millennial song... -
Lego has done an amazing job expanding its offerings. The Architectural Series are ridiculous. My son loves them. London Tower Bridge and Millennium Falcon were two of his favorites. The movie was excellent, and now Will Arnett is apparently hosting a Lego Masterbuilders show.

What have the Democrats done in the past Four years
IDBillzFan replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Late to this discussion, but I suspect something WILL be done about this when the Olympics are held in Tokyo in 2020. There will undoubtedly be a global push to let trans men compete in women's sporting events, and I suspect that will be the moment when the world let's you know how stupid this is. Once you have thousands of women showing up to to compete against men after training the last decade for their event(s), I believe the world will schitt the bed faster than a Kamala Harris presidential campaign. -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
IDBillzFan replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How is it that a party which labels half the country as racists is about to have a debate in December that will be all white candidates? See ya later, Harris. You're a genuinely horrible, selfish, divisive and vindictive human, and it's my hope you are never able to run for anything more than dog catcher. -
It wasn't that they beat the Cowboys. It was how they beat the Cowboys, who was statistically a top 3 defense going into that game. Did you watch the young QB taking command of the line, especially during the 7-minute drive? Reading the defense? Changing the plays and leading the team to six straight scoring drives? Did you watch the defense take what many consider the best OL in football and chase the snot out of Dak and Zeke? It boggles the mind how any fan who watches the team every week DIDN'T walk away from that Dallas game realizing this team is actually good not by accident, but by design.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
IDBillzFan replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And yet still not stupid enough to think a good plan is to gather a bunch of far-right shrinks to declare his competition mentally unstable. -
What a bunch of batschitt crazy idiots. Do they geniunely believe this will lead to anything other than further belief that the Dems have completely lost their freaking minds? How big of an effin' idiot do you have to be to think, for one moment, that THIS approach is a good idea? Dumber than schitt.

What is better, no guns, or more guns?
IDBillzFan replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It sounds like the only spec they didn't use to qualify a gun as semi-automatic is "a compass on the stock and this thing that tells time." But I'm sure they'll get to that in due time. -
Once again, someone who is not a conservative referencing the color of someone's skin. So weird.

I am conditioned to believe that as well, but here's a truth I just learned: the Bills quarterback does not shrink from the spotlight. My biggest concern on Thanksgiving was how badly the Bills traditionally play when the whole world is watching. Josh Allen said "I don't give a crap" and spent the fourth quarter proving it. I'll grant you that Tomlin is a better coach than Garrett, but Allen was at his best when all eyes were on him. Can't wait.

There is only one thing that will garner higher ratings than Super Bowl Tom* Terrific Games, and that's Falling Apart Tom* Terrific Yelling At Teammates Games. We raise people like Brady* up so high because we absolutely LOVE to watch the fall.

Freddie Kitchens wore a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt
IDBillzFan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is absolutely correct, except that he's wrong. Garrett started it with the late hit and slam. -
Freddie Kitchens wore a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt
IDBillzFan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We completely agree on this. There is no question who started this. It's ridiculous and embarrassing that a coach would wear a shirt like that because it was such an egregious act that the last thing a leader should ever do is something that would belittle that truth. In the end, I'm exceedingly glad that this isn't my team and my team's coach, but I hope they don't fire him because my sense is he's not a very good coach. The Mayfield, Darnold, Allen this will go on on for years, and if Mayfield can get hogtied by Kitchens while Darnold is hogtied to Gase, then all I'm missing is Brady*s retirement for the trifecta to watch the Bills be relevant for a long time.
