  1. Is this a serious post? Seriously.
  2. I may be in the moniority here, but I think also if he's the best guy and good value there, take him. The Bills will need WR help and it may take this position some time to develop, along with whoever they bring in at QB. Start rebuilding now, so in 3 years you actually have a group of guys on offense that have played and came up together. P.S. IF there is a stud O-lineman or D-lineman available that's clearly better, get him. BPA at this stage, or trade down and stockpile picks.
  3. I think there's plenty of parody in the league. Oakland, Detroit, Cleveland and Buffalo have been parodies of themselves for the better part of a decade!
  4. I wanted to do unit by unit analysis of the team as we're at the end of the season, and wasn't sure where to start, so I figured why not start with a unit that hasn't suffered major injuries, has under produced and will almost certainly be worse next IMHO. I give the you the Buffalo Bills WR corp. Apologies to Steve Johnson. (I preface this knowing the O-line has been bad, has rookies, no continuity, etc.) 1. Evans has a huge contract, and is good for a deep ball once in a while. He is catching 3 balls/game and isn't going anywhere. 2. T.O. will be gone. More production than Evans, one year deal, drops a huge number of balls. No new G.M. is gonna want him and it costs nothing to cut him loose. Thanks and see ya. 3. Josh Reed. He'll turn 30 in the off season, isn't an NFL # 3 guy IMO, and is a free agent I believe. Thank you sir. I'm not sure how he has lasted with the Bills for 8 yearsm however no way he survives a rebuild. Sorry. 4. James Hardy? 2nd round pick. 3 receptions appearing in 14 games last year. O catches and 0 games appearances this year. He is developing nicely. He is tall however, so that's good. Good luck. 5. Roscoe "I need more playing time" Parrish. Where to start. Drafted by Ol' Whitey with Buffalo's 1st pick, a 2nd rounder in 2005. Possibly for the final straw that got Donahoe fired. 2009: 2 catches, 2 rushes, 4 fumbles. I can't help but think of Dean Wormer from Animal House when he's reading off the grades of the guys in his office for some reason. His grade: 0.0 http://www.nfl.com/players/roscoeparrish/p...le?id=PAR686635 One generally doesn't expect a rookie WR to make in impact the first year, and they generally take a few years to develop. I understand having no O-line and no NFL starter at QB hurts, but this unit is not the answer. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. The Bills should probably put a QB near the top of their Christmas list and let him sit for a year or two while the F.O. begins the tasks of cleaning up the mess that is the QB situation and the O-line. Not a one year thing I'm afraid. Flame away.
  5. Nice work. Please save this for the next time someone claims the Bills don't draft Dbs or are very good at at.
  6. o George Wilson wasn't drafted as a DB, wasn't drafted at all I think. A converted WR. o Terrence McGee was drafted by Buffalo in 2003. Back in the Ol' Whitey era. o Drayton Florence wasn't drafted by Buffalo, a FA pickup this year. Glad they did. o Jairus Byrd drafted this year, a rookie, knocking D. Whitner a 1st round pick down the depth chart. You have any idea how many DBs the Bills have selected since Marv and Jauron came in?
  7. Maybin = Eric Flowers?
  8. Precisely. Doesn't matter where the Bills draft or how much money they spend with the crew they have making calls currently.
  9. Password PLZ. Thanks.
  10. I don't think you can pay a guy $ 9 - 10 Mil/year to catch 40 balls. Understand the lack of talent at QB and the bad O-line, but those things take to time correct and develop, all the while that money could be used elsewhere. Also, by the time Buffalo gets a QB/O-line working, Evans will be lining up for the next contract. However, I respect the opinion of my fellow posters, and perhaps I didn't think this one through.
  11. Overpaid. Not a # 1 receiver. Disappears all the time. Rarely gets open. The new G.M. is going to clean house, why not start with under-producing overpaid players. Nothing new.
  12. It may be best to start cleaning house and take all kind of cap hits this coming year, why not start with Evans. He is getting $ 9 + Mil. / year?
  13. Yeah, I would also not like that.
  14. LOL So, you're indicating he WASN'T a train wreck?
  15. It's not going to matter if they don't get rid of the clowns making the selections.
  16. Didn't they move up to get him?
  17. What could they possibly be doing? Getting ready for the April draft? These two guys need to get axed ASAP, before someone is tempted to send them to the Sr. Bowl and start the whole vicious cycle over again. Seriously. Dump these clowns now.
  18. I don't think so. Dumping Jauron and having P.F. in charge and seeing what the team has, making lineup changes, seeing who can play. Players IMO should be looked at as auditioning for next year. Also, if Ralph or the new G.M. doesn't completely clean house in the personnel department, having a high draft pick won't matter much based on history. They should almost certainly trade down, which may hurt however.
  19. It was like a different team, and game. Nice win. Give these guys an O-line and some D-line help, a QB, and you might have something there.
  20. + 1.
  21. Yeah.
  22. That's my take also. Wow. What a bust that pick has been.
  23. Right. So is showing up to camp.
