  1. I understand the 3rd year is typically when some receivers break out. Someone above compared him to T.O.'s first two years: T.O. had 60 catches, 900+ yards and 8 TDs his 2nd season. Hardy in listed # 2 on the depth chart right now, which is really scary. I posted that the Bills were going to be in trouble in 2010 with thin WR corps as I assumed T.O. and Reed would both be gone, which they are. Also, I still don't see Evans as a real # 1 receiver, Let's hope Marcus Easley is the real thing.
  2. Why should Hardy not be discounted. Seriously. I would love for him to show up, but.
  3. I'm wondering if Hardy makes it out of training camp. Dude has like 10 total catches for his career. I know he was hurt, but come on.
  4. I have a few thoughts and a theory: o If you can't get a LT that you believe in, why bother. o The D-line against the run was much worse than the O-line was rushing. o Starting (2009) 2 rookies, a new center, a LT who had never taken a snap in an NFL game, injuries, etc., maybe Nix and company figured the O-line Jauron fielded was such a mess it may be best to fix the D-line and see what if anything the O-line actually has. o D-line getting very old very fast, possible retirement of Schobel, 3-4 switch: let's use some draft picks. Flame away.
  5. Jauron was brutal. I still remember him getting worked by Belichick. Horrible.
  6. Also, look how many DB the Bills drafted under Jauron. Yikes.
  7. Right. I kind of felt bad for the guy. You could see he was only joking, but you just can't say certain things on TV.
  8. Kelsay. He's not good.
  9. Did anyone hear that crack he just made to Jaws? Holy crap. I'm not sure to laugh or cringe. Value added link: http://www.10best.com/Buffalo,NY/Restauran...st_Restaurants/
  10. Doesn't work though. People start saying give them a couple years. See Aaron Maybin. Just sayin'.
  11. There's got to be a reason everyone is staying from Clausen.
  12. If I was drafted by the Bills I'd be fighting back the tears too!
  13. + 1 On Sundays we will see some offense. This may be the most productive 1st round pick the Bills have made in years. This isn't saying much, but still.
  14. There is no way a rookie G.M. banks his first draft AND his future on a QB like Tebow. Not a chance IMO.
  15. Well, throw TO or throw AT!
  16. Given the Bills current roster, no QB, new coachs all they way around, why would Buffalo not trade down or out of the 1st round and get extra picks? They need help almost everywhere, have a not too good O-line which I wouldn't want a rookie QB behind anyway, and the curve of learning a new offense. Plus, they may get a QB in 2nd (it's possible) and they have no body to throw to anyhow. Except Evans. Play it smart, trade down, take your lumps and hope to build for the future IMHO.
  17. You know what, get a life. Really. And I don't enjoy the crap on the board from people like you. It's a POST. Get over it. I've also noticed the general level of respect, civility and general etiquette have gone down on here over the years. I don't recall calling people out like this, but hey, like someone else said there's nothing stopping someone from posting just about anything they want. All hail Brad Butler. I'm done. FYI: I noticed you're one of the most frequent posters ALL TIME on the board. Maybe you should pull your head out and find something better to do.
  18. Yeah, I'm getting killed. Guess I underestimated the love for Butler and the need for angry Bills fans to post on the board. I really didn't expect this type of reaction. I understand Butler started for the Bills, I was attempting to insinuate that he wasn't a starting caliber play, who didn't start consistently IMO and was often hurt. How many O lines would he have started on if not the Bills? Seriously. P.S. I hope the Bills draft O and D line and that they find a way to trade down. Go Bills.
  19. He was a mediocre lineman on possibly the worst O-line in the league, and barely started over 50 % of the games for Buffalo over 4 years. I am announcing my retirement from this thread. Thank you.
  20. OK. Fair enough. Would anyone have noticed? If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound? If a Bills O-lineman retires, does it , ehh you know.
  21. If we have backup linemen announcing retirement, why can't I post on it. Doesn't cost you anything.
  22. He had 39 starts in 4 years. Was he injured/hurt quite a bit?
