  1. "I can't speculate what's going to happen in the future. But don't worry. Don't worry right now," Ralph Wilson. At least Ralph has an unfaltering commitment to making money. o Uncertain future in Buffalo. o Old, meddling owner. o Possible additional out of town/county "home" game in future. o No QB. o Bad F.O. It's hard to say how much this all adds up, but apparently head coaching candidates have heard and seen enough.
  2. Shows how far you can go with a great O line and a mediocre rookie QB.
  3. Jets keep giving San Diego the ball near mid-field, could be a long day for Jets and their rookie QB.
  4. Hmm. If Ralph DID coach the team, would he pay himself?
  5. Well, apparently he's quite serious about it, as he started the positioning about ten years ago.
  6. Freaking hilarious. Ralph has a commitment to putting people in the seats and making money.
  7. + 1. Jets could get smoked. Could get ugly fast.
  8. Saved some money going without a G.M., which didn't seem to effect things too badly. Decided to go with the "cash to cap" deal, which makes it a lot easier to manage to the cap. Just check the online balance until you hit your max. Still managed to sell out games, even while selling a game to Toronto. Hell, just hire another D.C., and O.C., let Modrak/Guy screw up the draft/free agency as usual. Save a few bucks on the Head Coach and do it yourself? Seriously. Jauron never seemed to do anything on game days other than golf clap, look up at the clock, and give the same post-game pressers year after year?
  9. They sell a game to Toronto. They keep the same bad F.O. guys around year after year. Oh yeah, go without a G.M. for a couple years. Hire a marketing guy to run your franchise. Run coaches off year after year, and under pay them, they went through O.C.'s like you know what through a goose! No QB.
  10. Add to that: o Being located to Buffalo, mostly weather. o 9 road games a year. o No QB or QB prospects. o Bad/bizarre drafts and pro personnel moves.
  11. Shannon Sharp just said it was a bad call? Says he didn't "launch" at the player, which isn't part of the rule and he actually did.
  12. Which call? On Lewis?
  13. It's really nice to see great QB play, instead of biting your lip every time one of our guys goes back to throw the ball.
  14. Manning is on target SICK! Completed like 73 % at this point.
  15. I could not dismiss that possibility in good conscience. Bush is just a clown though.
  16. Can ANY N.O. player on O just make a play and NOT gesture and prance all over the place? Bush and Schockey are the worst.
  17. He also said last year the problem was not enough players, basically lack of talent. So, fire the entire coaching staff (a year too late), promote another guy from within (Nix, who may be OK), and leave the entire front office, who have proven they cannot assemble an NFL roster, intact. Add to this new reports of Ralph being an issue, which most of us already new, and you have the 2010 Buffalo Bills. Welcome to 11 years without a playoff appearance.
  18. The Bills just don't do what they should do in these situations. 2006 drafted Whitner and passed on Ngata, and then moved back up in to 1st to snag McCargo. They just don't get it.
  19. Yes: more continuity, less change. That should work.
  20. I hoped that would really rebuild the scouting/presonnel departments. Oh well. Welcome to Buffalo Bills 2010, 5 - 11, and no playoffs for an 11'th year?
  21. The Bills seem to enjoy picking 'tweeners with high round picks. I've never understood it. Seems like instead of drafting for solid value, they are always trying to catch lightning in a bottle, and never do.
  22. How much money do 7 games a year improve the economy? Buffalo is one of the most impoverished and poor cities in the U.S., per census.
