  1. I agree the Bills will be better at the end of the season, but changing defenses and having a new HC/OC and little talent at QB, WR and O-Line will take it's toll. You can only game plan around so many deficiencies. I would look for the Bills to have a solid 2011 draft next year and maybe get a whiff. You have to be really, really, really good on D to win without a solid passing game. The NFL has become a passing league, and those teams just don't develop overnight. Go Bills.
  2. When was the last time u DIDN'T think the Bills were poised to make a run at the playoffs? Seriously, the Bills aren't going anywhere this year or next.
  3. Bottom line: 4 more years of no playoffs, plus almost certainly another 2 as the Bills again rebuild and find a QB.
  4. You must be another "He was drafted as a project" guy. # 2 picks are supposed to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING! We'll see. He may have a clean slate, and we'll know soon enough if he's a but or not. Nobody gets more than three years, especially when you haven't done anything for the first two.
  5. Why would someone talk and give an interview about changing ways, and then NOT take the opportunity to do so? Marshawn isn't bright, but that just doesn't make any sense? Maybe he is high.
  6. What an ass. I'm so over Lynch it's not funny.
  7. Apparently they've been "against" it since 1993!
  8. T.E. CAN talk a little bit, he just can't hit open receivers.
  9. It's not really funny. Ol' Whitey couldn't draft for crap. This last four years with Jauron has been a joke. Who is the QB *whoever that is* going to throw to? Freaking Evans???
  10. T.O. had more catches, more yards, and more TDs than Evans even with those drops. I'm not even an T.O. guy. Just look at the numbers. Evans 3.5 catches a game?
  11. I knew they were going to be really thin at the end of last season, but this is just scary. T.O. was the best we had and he's gone now, which is fine, but that's a lot of production the Bills are going to miss. I have never thought Evans was a # 1 either.
  12. SOMEone should be crucyxfied!
  13. What about "allengience"? First line of post?
  14. I would agree, and add that the Bills weren't necessarily picking up players that would plug every hole, but trying to stop the bleeding on defense and see what the O could do given a new O.C., playbook and a year to mature. IMHO. I expect the D to be improved, and the Bills to run the ball a lot with the lack of talent at QB and receiver.
  15. There are those on this board that just don't get that.
  16. I hadn't seen that. Who is saying 2-4 wins? I give the Bills 1 additional win just for getting rid of Jauron.
  17. Didn't Jauron fire Turk Schonert because Schonert wouldn't run the "pop-warner" offense Jauron wanted?
  18. "The Elias Sports Bureau tracks every play, and it credited Edwards with only two pass attempts that traveled more than 40 yards in the air and 21 that traveled farther than 20 yards. " Wow. Seriously. I didn't think this was even possible for a Pro team.
  19. Right. Do you think he's injury prone? Or the victim of bad lines? Maybe both?
  20. When was the last time Trent made it through a season NOT injured?
  21. I guess I'm not really sure what the responsibilites would be for OLB in the new scheme Don't OLB usually pass rush on the weak side and drop into coverage on the strong? Never liked Kelsay or his contract, but I can't see him in coverage, and I don't think he has the quickness or footspeed to play OLB.
  22. My questions and observations: 1. Current depth chart has Maybin starting outside: only place he can possibly start? 2. Also has Kelsay as outside: Is this even possible? Isn't he too slow, can he cover TEs? 3. Puz and Davis starting inside: OK, that makes sense. 4. Mitchell is listed as a backup. http://www.billsdaily.com/depthchart/ Can the Bills really go into the season with 2 outside backers who have never started those positions? Flame away. Go Bills. FWIW: I do really like what the Bills have done so far in FA and draft on the D-line.
