  1. The trade UP to get McCargo was a real baffler also.
  2. I asked it if should go down the street to Bubba Kahuna's to have a beer before the game. Same answer: No way. Maybe it's broken. Ask it!
  3. How about the Magic "College Draft" 8 Ball? http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~ssanty/cgi-bin/eightball.cgi Less issues with P.E.T.A.
  4. + 1 Freaking a right. Seriously. Imagine this defense with Ngata and Orakpo instead of Maybin and Whitner?
  5. Ahh, the Official "It's not Edward's fault!" thread. He's just as bad as the O-line. Let it go.
  6. [This is an automated response] "Kelsay" : What really more needs to be said? Thank you.
  7. Very good responses from all IMO, the Franken QB deals not withstanding yet humorous, there are certain scenarios which the coach would replace T.E.: 1. Injury, which will come. 2. Seen enough of Trent, no hope. 3. Need to see Fitz or Brohm, Brohm first in, evaluate for next year? 4. Sell some tickets. 5. Try anything to avoid the early playoff elimination. I don't know, I just can't see T.E. playing every game this year. IMO. Yeah, me too. I think if they can get a couple more guys in there, SOME pass rush and some LBs that aren't so fragile and can cover, they could be OK. I think every team in the league is see the weakness of the D, and it's OLB can't cover, and no pass rush.
  8. The D actually looked a little better to me this first game, than last year. Too early to tell really, but I think the D line may be OK, and DBs looked good. The O is going to be another problem as most already knew. The Bills are already ranked # 32 in O, and probably won't climb much from this position as the season goes on, and on. At what point will the new coach say what the heck, and insert Fitz? The bye week? http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=TM&offensiveStatisticCategory=GAME_STATS&defensiveStatisticCategory=null&season=2010&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=true&Submit=Go
  9. If the Bills had a real # 1, Evans would look a lot better. T.O. had better numbers than Evans last year, even with all his drops. Evans completely disappears during entire games, and never seems to make much of a difference outside the occasional long bomb. He IS also way overpaid: I would trade him now for a solid # 2 and a draft pick, and start rebuilding this Receiver unit while the team waits for a QB.
  10. Don't sell him short, he's a terrific slouch!
  11. + 1 Edwards is not an NFL QB.
  12. I'll be surprised if McLuvin doesn't do something stupid to cost the Bills, either a game or a big score.
  13. With Gailey one big poker game sounds great. With, Jauron, it was more like one big game of Wack-A-Mole, except the moles didn't jump up and down: they just stood there getting wacked.
  14. The Fish are favored by 3, so it's pretty close. I like Vic Carucci during the game day interviews/commentary. He seems to make a lot of sense when I have heard him last year. I am thinking the Fish may have an issue also they have NO tape on the Bills and don't really know what type of O ti prepare for. That should be a definite advantage in my opinion.
  15. + 1 Also, having an O.C. that has actually called a few games in the NFL might help?
  16. I think people need to stop with the O-line movement stuff. IMO, it's nuts. You're not going to start shuffling your O-line around a week before the start of the season, unless ur D.J. Let the young guys play a year together, and hope Hang. holds up.
  17. +1 They won't. There's no way. The run defense can't be any worse than last year, even with switching to a 3-4. Add in Spiller, a real O-coordinator (head coach), and take away Jauron: they win 5-6 games I say.
  18. If you look at the 2009 Division winners (8), and the top 8 passing teams in the league, it seems fairly obvious: you must pass very well to win. 7 of the 8 top passing teams were also Division winners. New England was # 3 and Buffalo was # 30. The Bills are not going to compete even within the Division until they are a top 10 passing team in my opinion. Given the O-line and the QB situation, this seems a long ways off. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?offensiveStatisticCategory=TEAM_PASSING&season=2009&seasonType=REG&d-447263-o=2&conference=ALL&tabSeq=2&role=TM&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=PASSING_NET_YARDS_GAME_AVG&d-447263-n=1
  19. Every single FA O-lineman these guys bring in is bad. How can a group of professionals be so wrong and over pay so often?
  20. Fire? As in "fire up that blunt"?
  21. I stand corrected, thanks guys.
  22. Even having gotten rid of John Guy, the Bills F.O. still has not clue about picking Pro Personnel? Guy was the college scout, who's the pro scout?
  23. You would think in ten years of drafting, eben a BAD F.O. would simply stumble across a decent RT. I guess not.
