  1. He'll have less trade value when placed on I.R. after getting broken off.
  2. If the fans start not showing up for games, which I suspect they will, how much is that going to cost in actual dollars i.e. parking, concessions, advertising, etc. Also, is attendance an issue with selling another game to Toronto?
  3. Ralph gave this clown a three year deal last year as we all know after three losing seasons. Who does that, seriously? Answer: Ralph Wilson, that't who. And why? Continuity. Nice job. Sell the team already Ralph.
  4. "We need to make more plays."
  5. >>> ?
  6. How telling of a stat is that.
  7. This is the way Jauron coaches a game. We have seen this same act for several years now and it just doesn't work against average to above average teams. Jauron does nothing to put the game over the top, and at least a couple times a year will cost you a game. JMO.
  8. The Bills don't draft well, over-draft certain units like the secondary, and seem to like to pick 'tweeners a lot. They trade up for players which I don't think you do unless you're already a playoff team. They project players into spots that they're not really suited for IMO. Also, they can't seem to put together a decent receiving unit.
  9. I would agree. What ever happened to "the creep"? That seemed to work well. I liked it.
  10. I hope they get to him early and often, ala BrUuuuce! Go Bills.
  11. I remember Kurt Warner shredding the Bills pass defense last year, I think Brees will do the same thing today. 1. On and off again pass rush. 2. LBs that seem to really struggle against the pass. 3. The "break don't bend" defense. 4. DBs that play 10 yards off the ball. 5. DBs that will get toasted. I see McLuvin in this role. Seriously, Brees could have a career day going for 400 + yards and a very high completion % and QB rating.
  12. Wilson IS cheap. The sign is blue, and water is wet.
  13. + Scheme. + Playing 10 yards off the ball.
  14. Expect another fine crop of DBs to be selected again this year. Oh yeah, thanks to the Buffalo 2008 11th overall pick for costing them the game.
  15. Sounds like the Buffalo D alright. The playing soft by the CBs is constant.
  16. That will be very interesting to keep an eye on. I was thinking with giving Turk the axe so close to the start of the season, AVP had no choice but to go into the season with whatever O they had in place at the time.
  17. Right, this is by design, and is a reason for much concern I believe. Some games the O is just not going to be in sync, and we have all seen what happens to the Buffalo D at the ends of games when they have been on the field too long. Sounds like a lot of close, but no cigar, late game losses to me.

  19. Excellent post. I also think AVP did a great job, and this is being overlooked by most due to the way the game ended. For a 1st time OC, in his first game, to go up against the Pats, he did a very nice job. Buffalo will need to find a way to improve the TOP though, IMO.
  20. If someone (coaching staff/Jauron) tells McLuvin' to fair catch the ball, or stay away from it, or take it out and slide down, or just run off the field, the game is basically over. I heard Jauron after the game say he "supported" McLuvin's decision to run the ball out? Wow, that's great Dick. Nice passive way to manage a game and a situation. Keep up the good work. P.S. Look for McLuvin to keep fielding those long kicks and keep your fingers crossed.
  21. Both good points. I'll look for Edwards to loosen up week by week, and start to get the WRs more involved in the passing game. Hopefully the O-line will improve and bolster his confidence also.
  22. Fast Freddie did a great job.
  23. I used to think that was a problem, but it appears to be the style or method they want. You play soft against a good QB, and they will carve you up sooner or later.
  24. To go a little deeper, Evans seems to disappear way too often, and I had expected that with Owens now in the mix they would be able to get the ball to their # 1 and # 2 receivers, like a lot of people I am guessing. All the Evans people promoted the theory of getting a real # 2 on the other side, and teams wouldn't be able to just double Evans. I understand it's just one game, and Edwards did a nice job overall I thought, but shouldn't this staff be able to get the ball to the two big time players, or adjust, or something? Nice job by the O-line also: Clean up the penalties and they might have something there.
