Right: That would be a good play, a play which most QBs are coached to accomplish. I guess you can imagine all types of situational football here, but
the premise is when QBs are under pressure and doesn't take any specifics into account for any of them. There are numerous variables, but many here seem to
be arguing that Fitz is somehow more susceptible to them all: Maybe he is just more negatively impacted by them?
There are really two (2) stats being stated in the article: The other stat some are ignoring is the percentage completion rate dropping more than all others, or dropping more than 32 others? That means Fitz is not only bad under pressure, but also his accuracy or completion % drops more than all but a few.
"His completion percentage is just a pedestrian 39.2-percent, which is nearly a 26-percent drop-off from his performance without pressure. That is the fourth-worst drop-off in the NFL according to the study."
Someone explain this?
The "STATS" haters would also not like to admit that the Bills really didn't do any better scoring points with Fitz in '10 than with Edwards
and Jauron's/Edwards O in 2009.
Bills rank points scored 2009: 28
Bills rank points scored 2010: 28
I do realize they seemed to MOVE the ball much better with Fitz, and I do like him much better, but seem to recall a number of times when
he made really bad decisions or really bad throws at the end of games or when in the red zone.
I would like to see some stats for Fitz while in the red zone or in the two minute drill also.
Interesting read. Not really any surprises however. I also think after the first few games, D-coordinators also figured this out and
the scouting reports on him would say pretty much the same.
Good backup, not a starter.
I think O'le Whitey gave up an additional pick to move up and get Denney, which makes that pick even worse.
Why the Bills keep handing Kelsay contacts and money is beyond me. That happened this past season, and was not a scouting / drafting move either.
Can't find. He was supposed/hoped to be good after the cacth, but I didn't think it ever
materialized.
His yards/catch is 11, which doesn't indicate high YAC, and for his career he had only 11 TDs.
Ralph is and always has been full of it for a long time. Talking out boths sides of his mouth.
He said the problem was "talent" before he fried Jauron. Wouldn't say whether Jauron had an extension, then fired him. Won't say who's in charge,
and then promotes from within. Now says it'll take three years to rebuild, and fires Modrak who doesn't have the final word.
If Wilson really know what the heck he was doing this wouldn't be one of the worst NFL teams for over a decade.
Moves like the Kelsay extension are just another reason the Bills are always looking up at teams like N.E., who typically dump
veterans a year before they are done rather than a year or years later.
Kelsay was probably the worst player on one of the worst defenses in the league.
Donahoe was bad, Marv was brutal. It takes a LOT of bad decisions to have 1 winning season on 10 years, no playoff appearances
and no D-line, no O-line, no QB....
o Whitner - Not great, probably gone.
o McLuvin -
o Florence - Like him, but may be gone.
o McGee - Getting old, getting hurt.
The thing is after ALL those DB Jauron took, the 2ndary still wasn't built right.

You haven't been paying ATTENTION: You can't trade down in the early rounds of the NFL Draft!
Oh, wait. I think Washington traded down four times in the first 2 rounds?
