Nice. THX.
I can't see the Bills passing on Dareus, however where would you think this guy would be available/taken?
OG:
1. Benjamin Ijalana, OG, Villanova - 6'3" 317, SR, 2
Buffalo has no business trading up for anybody. They historically get worked on these deals, and always reach for the wrong guy.
Smarten up, trade down, giving up some value or chart points, and get as many players as possible which are BPA.
I think the NFL should institute some sort or draft pick trading restriction. Teams not at or above .500 winning % should not be allowed to trade up, and only allowed to trade down. Or give the bad teams an extra pick FOR trading down.
The Bills obviously don't get it, and would be better off with some sort of institutional controla applied.
Seriously.
On the verrge. ON the verge of what. Seriously. There's a reason they won 5 games last year, they're not good. The front 7
was horrible. If they can start to stop the run they MAY be on the verge of going 7-9, but come on. Nobody the Bills draft contribute immediately, they just don't, and this year will likely be more of the same.
Stop giving up 170 yards a game on the ground and then talk to me about being on the verge of anything.
Pretty funny stuff. I have high hopes for Easley for some reason. Sounds like an intelligent kid. Let's hope he
picks up the Bills O fast and gets some this year.
Right. The Bills are always chasing their tail, lot of motion and activity which never results in anything. Gets a bit old
to watch after a while also.
IMO.
At least the best time of the year is hear, the time leading up to and including the draft, and the first quarter or half
of the first game. May be different this year: let's hope so.
season.
We've seen this movie already. Draft a QB with a subpar O-line, and no defense.
Give the QB 4 years to "develop", bacause it can't be that the guy can't play.
Dump the QB and start all over again.
Rinse, wash, repeat.
I think the biggest problem with the Bills is Ralph putting people in place and then not replacing them
regardless of performance.
o You fire Polian (well documented) and then promote Butler who spent the team into cap hell.
o You bring on Ol' Whitey: never worked again in the NFL that I am aware of.
o You then bring back Marv to pseudo G.M., which was a disaster.
o Marv leaves and you go without a G.M. Great move.
o You promote people seemingly every year, and every year you are a losing team.
o They finally dumnped John Guy last year, but how is Modrak still employed after ALL the losing?
Ralph doesn't get it and time has run out, unfortunate for us.
Donahoe: Newton or AJ Green. You probably nailed it.
Marv/Jauron: Find a tweener who doesn't project well to an NFL D position with a really great 1st step, or another small DB.
Levy is gone. Jauron is gone. Why is McCargo still with the Bills.
He obviously can't play. Another 1st round bust, but why are they even paying him?

Anything that would help or improve the Bills chances of getting good players.
They can't continue to miss on their high round picks and expect to improve.
When is the NFL going to start compensating the Bills for just horrible draft picks?
Every 1st rounder that doesn't start, or gets cut, or whatever should be worst another swing at it, no?
The Bills have a much better chance at picking up D line, front seven players in this years draft IMO.
+ 1
Forget About a QB this draft and STACK the D
I don't think it really matters who is throwing the ball for the Bills, when your run D is giving up
170 yards a game. The draft is deep on D-linemen, and Bufflao needs help there EVEN if the draft picks
from last year step: they are really horrible and aren't going anywhere soon.
A.
D line, D line, D line. Of yeah, a LB is great also. Build the front even please! Do something right, for once. Help
stop the run and generate some sort of pass rush. Freaking A, how tough can it be.
Forget Newton, plz.
I understand Newton went 11 for 21 at the combine, against air. Not good.
Given the package as a whole, I say you're crazy if you take this guy high in the first round.
