  1. I think the Bills are just wanting to ride out the string, spend as little as possible and rake in as much money as possible via all means possile including seling games to Toronto. The reason may be to keep the team a viable candidate for sale: move or not. $$$ Why should the spend additional money if they are selling out games already? FYI: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/131908-if-the-bills-dont-sign-any-help-this-year-fa-period/
  2. Please understand, I'm not saying win with a big "W", as in Super Bowl, I'm say just win, like as in 9 - 7, a winning season. Maybe 10 - 6?
  3. Well, look at the bidding war they got into with themselves re: Kelsay. ?
  4. Given the Bills decade long inability to make the playofss, the huge cap space they have available and MUST spend to, the large number of holes which exist on the roster, and the large number of free agents that will be available, if the Bills don't make some major moves, I have two questions: 1. Do they really want to win? 2. What will the excuse be? I don't think they will do much, as they rarely do. Flame away.
  5. ??? Where? I think Jauron was a bad coach, and Gailey will get this year, however where was there any real improvement?
  6. Well, at least we're not drafting defensive backs like a lab rat on crack! Another thing I don't understand is if/when you do HIT on an O lineman, you can pretty much forget about that spot for like ten years. I think O linemen have the longest career of any position. Seems like a pretty good value if you are going high in the draft for one of these guys. IMO.
  7. The Bills just never learn I guess: It would be fun to see all the scrubs they've brought in, but the list would be too long. I hope they get a decent RT and give us a chance to see what the O-line can do with balance and some solid players.
  8. + 1 This could be the formula, and with a shorter than normal amount of prep. time due to the lockout, I think we will find out very quickly who is going to be where as soon as training camp starts: They're not going to have the luxury of swapping guys around here and there I wound't think. Plug the best options in there and go with it. Bell - Levitre - Wood - Urbik - RT ?
  9. "Bad things man, bad things."
  10. Well, in all fairness they DID find Cornell Green, didn't they!
  11. I was looking for something more substanative, but the offense was just as bad as the defense. In fact, the Bills D ALSO ranked 25th in yards/game and 28 in points/game. Maybe if the O could move the ball, they could help keep the horrible D off the field?
  12. OK, I'll bite: How do you explain the Bills O being 25th in the league in yards/game and 28th in points/game? Has nothing to do with the O-line?
  13. Yeah, that's the concern. If I were Ralph, I would find an O-line scout specialist or something: Pay somebody and build this thing.
  14. Ahhh, Cornell Green. Right. The mind tends to erase painful memories. Again, I'n not the one signing these clowns. IF this is correct, and they can do this, take some pressure off Fitz, and get a better running game going, I could see them winning 7 or 8 games.
  15. Curious. I can't remember remember who was at RT, however I'm not the one signing these guys. Bell started 16 games. Wood started 14 games. Hangartneer started 12 games. Levitre started 16 games. I thought thet were going to move Wood to center, which means they would need another guard? Maybe not?
  16. OK, I am not familiar with Clabo. Is he capable/average?
  17. Very happy about the D-line and D in general with the off season additions. What about the O-line: the Bills are going into the season (TBA) with the same O-line as last season, which isn't very good. I know the expectations were high with Gailey being on O guy, but the Bills didn't score any more points than the previous season that the stats show. How many years does it take fix/correct the O-line?
  18. Ergo: the NFL is still protected until a decision is made that says otherwise and is upheld? These guys are operating on a different "field", and until some situation comes up to dissolve their exempt status they are in the drivers seat that I can see.
  19. Great. I'm trying to picture old Ralph chasing down Vince when he storms out without his cell phone!
  20. I like these types of articles. THX Regarding the prior topic "poorly under pressure", I don't think it generated that much controversy, just the same couple 4 or 5 guys that kept saying the same things in an attempt to refute the stats and the article.
  21. This is just another reason why the Bills don't win. You think tha Patriots are handing out multi-year multi MIllion $ contracts for guys like Kelsay? No way.
  22. Excuse, err, ehh, VARIABLES. What is, err, ehh, Pressure! Define pressure! Umm, doesn't make any sense. Statement - statement - statement, O-LINE! a·pol·o·gist/əˈpäləjist/ = http://www.thefreedictionary.com/apologist
  23. Those are not pass attempts?
