  1. My bad. I will refrain from posting until I wake up. Possibly entirely. Just had hail out here in Dana Point. Strange.
  2. And Ol' Ralph's selling a game to Toronto was anything BUT a money grab. Why not move one of the road games there instead? $$$
  3. Well I hope they do. It will probably take 10 wins. Guess I'm just jaded after so many losing seasons. And no playoffs. Go Bills.
  4. Yes, now if it would only extend to the other teams!
  5. I don't care what they're thinking, just don't insult my intelligence by saying you expect to make the playoffs. It's just garbage a coach says.
  6. He doesn't expect to make the playoffs, that's just coach speak B.S. And if he really DOES mean it, then we're really in trouble because dude isn't too bright. Stop bs'ing us Chan, and just call a smart game: please.
  7. Right. But I mean, if you are building a team or defense in this example, start with the big boys up front and on the edges. They will get some sacks also, but start up front: I love a big nasty D line.
  8. I agree 100 %, and expect much the same type of production from the secoundary as we saqw from the run defense last season. Teams will be forced to throw more, which isn't a good thing for ths Bills. This secondary could be at the bottom of the league in stats when the season is over.
  9. Is this a mistake? Has MvLuvin been promoted? Why sign Florence and also draft Williams? BTW: I think MvLuvin is a mistake waiting to happen every time he's on the field. Toast.
  10. Who, what started, STILL on the team has been worse than Kelsay?
  11. and... Thigpen may want to be checking his resume.
  12. The Bills are actually looking pretty good for a change!
  13. I will be very interested to the O-line, how they perform, who lines up where, and in general if they look better or worse than previous outings. Let's be objective and honest: If the O-line isn't set by now, there are real problems, and everyone is basically healthy and the season obviously hasn't even started yet. They have one more pre-season game, which I would expect minimal starter playing time prior to prepping for the opener.
  14. Yeah, very similar. Except we don't have Brees, Tomlison, Gates, or an O-line.
  15. "0" touchdowns, with 52 % completions. Fitz is like 59 % for his career.
  16. You are correct, I have edited.
  17. Yeah, I'm not judging, just reporting. Or observing. Can u imagine what this board would be like if two weeks before the season Buffalo's new 1st round pick (Newton) was throwing for 40 %? One of the issues with him pre-draft was throwing accuracy, correct? I'm sure he will improve, but 40 % is below the "Menzosa" line for NFL QB, 50 %.
  18. I know it'a preseason, however isn't it supposed to be easier to complete passes in preseason? By my math, Newton is 21 of 52 through 3 games, which is approx. a 40 % completion percentage. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=PASSING&conference=null&season=2011&seasonType=PRE&d-447263-s=PASSING_YARDS&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-n=1
  19. Confirmation?
  20. They are not trying to win, they are trying to become mildly competitive for little money, and sell tickets and merch.
  21. I honestly don't think it really matters, although I agree with what you are saying. Ralph is just gonna ride this thing into the sunset, and call it a day. P.S. NEXT year they will start to address the O-line and that will be another excuse for "patience".
  22. It's hard to say they're worse than last year, just yet: 3 - 13 would be Ol' Whitey/Greggo bad. That's bad. I'm not sure I see 5 wins on the schedule either. With the run D assumed to be better, which I believe it will, we will see just how bad the secondary really is.
