  1. How much do they pay him if he again doesn't play a snap?
  2. Can u imagine Kyle Williams and Dareus lined up together, side by side as the interior D-line. Put whoever you want at each end. "The Package", Jr. size.
  3. huh? Roscoe Parrish was drafted in the 2005 draft. The last one for Ol' Whitey. Ur really going to play the "Roscoe Parrish" card re: drafting for need and waiting for a player to develop?
  4. Oh, OK. So they drafted him with the plan to unleash him on the NFL NEXT year. Well, he better have like 2000 yards from scrimmge or the Bills are in trouble. Sorry, I just don't buy it. We're going to have to disagree.
  5. I understand what they wanted: A viable 3rd down back. Spiller isn't big enough to be an every down guy, they certainly didn't use him much. He had 70 rushing attempts and 24 receptions. I'm not saying it was a bad pick, I kind of liked the idea, but I just don't see that as having been a need of any sort given the other huge holes they had on this team, and switching to the 3-4 and the O-line issues. Yeah, sure, if that's how it worked out. The Bills never bring in anyone in FA that's very good, and struggle to draft players every year. So those positions may take them 2 years to fill, IMO.
  6. Spiller filled no need that I can see.
  7. I don't know who the Bills will select. however I can tell you a couple things: 1. The 1st round pick will very likely make little sense, and probably have NO impact on the team as a starter. 2. The draft/experts will be laughing at the Bills/Ralph. 3. The board will go crazy and ate the pick. 4. Season ticket sales will take another nose dive. or... The Bills Front office will have a great day (1 and 2) and get this team some help. They will find a way to screw it up. The best thing they could do is trade down and stockpile picks: Won't happen. Let's hope they take a beast D-lineman.
  8. That's a nice problem to have, I really thought the WR corp would be the weakest on the team, given the Hardy situation and general inexperience of most of the other guys. It probably helps a lot when your QB isn't afraid to throw the ball!
  9. Cool. Sounds like a well spoken kid. Really looking forward to getting a look at him on the field. I hope he does play Sunday.
  10. Bills Defense ranking: The defense was clearly much worse this year, with essentially the same players and having much fewer injured players and a very high round 2 and round 3 picks. Total Yards 2009 2010 =================== 19th 24th Total Points 2009 2010 =================== 16th 27th
  11. Wow. That was really good. It seems the Bills have put themselves in some D front-seven twilight zone. They tried making a change to the 3-4 without all the pieces for it, drafted players for it, seem to have switched back to the 4-3, and don't have the horses for that either. What does the worst run D in the league do to get better? Which system are they closer to fixing?
  12. Agreed. Yet the F.O. extends a player like Kelsay. Who were they bidding against? Really?
  13. So, Fitz has one of the lowest completion %'s in the league because the WR's drop passes? The stats applies the same to everyone. It's an indicator. You want to know what his career completion % is?
  14. I think both of these guys are considered premier D linemen in the country.
  15. Yes it does include those as incompletes, just like every other QB in the league. It does not include his 3 completions to the other team yesterday.
  16. I say "both". The Bills could realistically be able to get EITHER of these guys. Let's just hope they don't mess it up. Please no more 1st round RBs, DB's or 'tweeners.
  17. Dareus: Concensus Top 5 pick. I like it. http://walterfootball.com/draft2011DT.php
  18. You will be proven wrong. He is very inaccurate, 57 % completion rate.
  19. Fitz has one of the LOWEST completion %'s in the league. Like 57 %. That is not an NFL starting QB.
  20. The run D is worst in the league: Ranked 32 with 4.7 yards/carry. Ranked 32 with 162 yards/game. How many first "day" picks do they use this year to try and correct the problem? http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?season=2010&seasonType=REG&d-447263-o=2&conference=ALL&tabSeq=2&role=OPP&statisticCategory=RUSHING&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=RUSHING_YARDS_PER_GAME_AVG&d-447263-n=1
  21. "crickets"
  22. The NFL wants and needs a team in LA. When the team is sold, the NFL won't stand in the way.
  23. He wasn't even a starter all of last year, on a 6-10 defense. But he is now however, on the worst D in the league. Bills front office blows.
  24. That really seemed like a rookie mistake by a rookie GM, IMO. I understand not wanting to create additional holes, but the Bills aren't going anywhere with guys like Whitner and Kelsay, they're just not. Who, Whitner? He's in his 5th season. He's been holding out all this time?
