  1. Ol' Whitey was bad. I remember so much B S from him. Never got another NFL job that I recall. I heard him on am sports radio 1 or 2 times last couple years.
  2. Some fans/posters are going to want to keep almost EVERY player the Bills have, no matter what. People even wanted to keep Kelsay, which I still can't believe, but people latch unto players and can't let go.
  3. That's a more difficult catch than it looks?
  4. Agree. Most likely, I think the Bills will do what they normally do: Give the 2nd year head coach a pass on the first year, stay the course, no major shake ups, talk about this being the year, sell season tickets with maybe 1 FA signing.
  5. 1 question: when you think of Stevie, do you think of big plays and great catches, or do you think "suck"?
  6. If Marone and Co. keep him after all the talk of accountability, then they have none. I think he is part of the losing culture, and the younger receivers don't need to learn anything from him. IMO.
  7. Can't really disagree with much of that article. IMO. Let Stevie go. Time to move on.
  8. Fitzpatrick Edwards Losman Johnson Need I continue?
  9. McD: Right, I just don't know right now if I know any more about this team than I did 2 months ago. The D is not where I thought it would be before the season started. IMO.
  10. Well, both those things (posts) may be true, but REALLY what can be learned against 3-9 team? If they lose, it's bad but maybe the team has lost interest? If they win, they SHOULD win, but so what?
  11. Q: What can be taken from a WIN or a LOSS against this opponent today?
  12. From what I have read, hear, and understand, this draft is supposed to be very deep at the QB position. Maybe not high first round picks, but mid to late first round or 2nd round? Do what they did last year: trade down if possible, get an extra pick (they need it) and draft another QB. E.J. has one of the lowest completion pct's in the league, and doesn't even throw a deep ball. Draft another QB, they are going to need one anyhow for backup, or if E.J. doesn't work out: It's the smart move IMO, which means Buffalo probably won't do it.
  13. Honestly, I would be much more interested in the last three (3): A number of QBs have come and gone in Buffalo the last decade or so, and having a three game beginning means very little, IMO. Show me who they progress or stand up after NFL D coordinators have some game film on them and know what to take away. With E.J., don't worry about the deep ball too much.
  14. I stand corrected: http://askville.amazon.com/time-patriots-missed-playoffs/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=31812869
  15. This has been an issue and stated also be follow posters. Why the O.C. can't figure out the QB can't make that throw is beyond me. E.J. not only routinely doesn't make that throw, he typically does over through, and other posters have again said many times the ball is actually thrown out of bounds. Some of the play calling is so very predictable:
  16. LOL I'm 52. My very first recollection of the Bills as a child, was them losing to Jets. It seemed they were always losing to somebody!
  17. N.E. made the playoffs a few years ago without Brady for most of the season. Go figure.
  18. 1. So done with "Stevie". Go away. 2. Gilmore, isn't a starting corner on a good D, IMO. Too many mental mistakes, too few good plays. 3. E.J. doesn't throw well.
  19. ... in all fairness, Fitz just threw a TD. He is a class act, just a bad QB. AND Now a sack/fumble by Fitz....
  20. Yes. What's even funnier, neither commentator could figure out who he was actually throwing it to, and the play before he threw it to a defender who just dropped it.
  21. A post from a guy with almost 10,000. Awesome.
