  1. Interesting. Given the fact that the Bills O simply cannot generate 1st downs, (31st in league last I looked) the Bills D is really doing 1 heck of a job. They are at the top of the league in sacks and INTs I believe.
  2. The Kansas City defense may be better than the Bills defense, looking at the raw stats.# 3 in league points/game and # 3 in league in receiving yards per game. Guess that means Hackett with attack the strength of their D and be throwing all day??? http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?seasonType=REG&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=TOTAL_POINTS_GAME_AVG&tabSeq=2&season=2014&role=OPP&Submit=Go&archive=false&conference=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=SCORING&qualified=false
  3. Excellent post. Thank you. + 1 Q: They drafted 3 O linemen last year. 2 OTs and 1 OG. They do seem to be horrible at evaluating OG talent. Why is this so tough to do? They paid an injury history Williams and guess what? He's injured! They only have four draft picks next year, so they better overpay some a veteran OG who can actually play some. IMO.
  4. 1st downs/game? 31st in league. Not good, but we knew this. Bad play calling IMO. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&season=2014&seasonType=REG&role=TM&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-p=1&statisticCategory=GAME_STATS&conference=ALL&d-447263-s=FIRST_DOWNS_GAME_AVG
  5. the Bills drafted three (3) O linemen in 2014. I'm not saying they don't NEED O linemen, they certainly do, however only because the selections from this year are getting it? Next year Buffalo has only 4 selections I believe.
  6. I don;t think I've ever seen a team have a +6 turnover margin, except SB ? Bills vs Dallas. which was 7?
  7. Just eliminate the OC position, like Chan did!
  8. I could not agree more, the O is killing this otherwise decent football team. Hackett is terrible and not getting any better it appears. Marrone may get canned if he doesn't replace Hackett, which he pobably won't. IMO.
  9. This may not be rocket surgery. however I think the Bills have turned the ball over 4 times in each of the last 2 games. Thta's 8 turnovers in 2 games. That's a LOT. Interceptions, sack/turnover, RB turnovers: they can't win like that, and some of the issue is the O-line, but the O-line does't throw the ball and they don't hold the ball. STOP the turnovers and protect the ball. The usual penalty producing players must stop also, meaning no really stupid infractions, please. Go Bills!

  11. That's going to be a shorter thread!!!
  12. Disagree, it told us E.J. couldn't throw down field worth a damn.
  13. Brady didn't throw a pick, fumble and get sacked... or DID he?
  14. Amazing. Buffalo linemen average like 6'6", possibly the heaviest line in the NFL, and zone blocking... Further indications Coach and G.M. not on the same page?
  15. + 1 Q: Whats the deal with Pears anyhow, possibly the worst O lineman a 3rd year running? http://www.billsdaily.com/gameday/2013/
  16. We can talk about how bad the O-line is?
  17. Why not? Which assessment do you not agree with? Currently out of that draft the Bills have 1 starter: a # 2 receiver who does seem to get many looks. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/15880/robert-woods This is how teams end up missing the playoffs for so many years. IMO.
  18. Hmm, Why is passing a better metric? Teams throw on the Bills because the defense is so good, and they can throw. Just asking.
  19. Bills are now # 26 in the league against the pass: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&defensiveStatisticCategory=TEAM_PASSING&conference=ALL&role=OPP&season=2014&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=PASSING_NET_YARDS_GAME_AVG&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-n=1
  20. + 1 Doesn't change much....
  21. + 1 Q: How could the NOT have this as a top priority? A la Buddy Nix. Brutal Novice decisions IMO.
  22. The Bills have graded as the worst collective O line in Pro football? Did I read that correctly? That's actually pretty impressive!!!
  23. Why do the Bills have such a long history of horrible O linemen signings? Through many different regimes also.
