  1. Yet I've read the Bills have or had the biggest O-lie in the league?
  2. Excellent article. Great conversation / posts resulting from. Thx. My question is what are the Bills going to do to address the terrible talent/personnel evaluation that is a major issue and a huge part of the problem as a whole? Also, how Marrone and Hackett screwed this one unit up SO bad is beyond me. Coaching/play-calling/scheme, you name it. And how drafted rookies can't get on the field with the O-line unit which is so bad is another indication how bad evaluation is? Putting guys out of position also makes no sense. Bad coaching.
  3. + 1. People (the board) were extremely skeptical of this signing when made for obvious reasons, get the Bills F.O. makes poor decisions like this particularly on the O line all the time. Who's at fault here?
  4. Probably. Also, a QB who can actually hit a receiver in motion would have helped.
  5. He is a veteran QB, who had a couple good games before DCs around the league remembered who he was and how he was being used by Hackett: http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr Guess what Bridgewater, Hoyer and Carr all had in common? 24 Teddy Bridgewater, MIN 41.5 5.6 -22.4 3.2 27.8 489 37.6 -1.4 49.0 25 Brian Hoyer, CLE 39.3 -3.7 -16.1 1.9 21.4 538 32.0 -10.9 43.1 26 Derek Carr, OAK 29.2 -0.5 -10.2 0.7 19.2 656 34.7 -17.6 40.9
  6. What does Brandon bring to the tables, re: football? He's full of BS in my opinion, and his "culture change" crap was just that. Seriously, Trying to save HIS job? Team doesn't show up for most important game in years?
  7. He absolutely did panic. I don't think there's any question. They invested HEAVILY on the O., on a position that had a number of top talents, traded away future picks which is ridiculous to do for a receiver, AND was convinced E.J. was the guy to get him the ball, which he obviously wasn't. This isn't revisionist history either, as I was saying this before the draft also. Ask my son-in-law!! That's three (3) mistakes in one shot in my book. EPIC. To make it worse, the O line is again a mess, and now the Bills have no QB going forward. He set the franchise back again, regardless of the success on D, which was pretty good. Note: The Bills seemed to be almost injury free this year. Would anyone have a link to player-games-lost for the year? Merry Christmas. This offense has: 1. No QB. 2. No O-line. 3. Suspect receivers outside of Watson. 4. Who knows what at RB.
  8. It's not going to make a whole lot of difference with Hackett coming back as O.C., it's just not.
  9. + 1. Seriously.
  10. I'm starting to think so also. They still get "stevestojan'd" by the O however !!
  11. They figured they we had E.J.???
  12. So Bills could be in 7th spot given a win at OAK?
  13. I had been hearing that some on the board, during games even. One point nobody can argue: if this team has even a competent O, this is a playoff team.
  14. Cool. I just haven't been hearing much. I had heard the "rush 4 and drop everyone else into coverage" bit. Can't be THAT simple. They have been giving up a lot of run yards though.
  15. Cool. WhoEVER he is has no credibility then. Nobody seemed to argue with him however.
  16. Good morning Bills fans! I was listening to 620 am WDAE out of Tampa Bay I believe (I'm in So.Cal) and the taking head they had on was explaining the Bills D taking on Green Bay and A Rodgers, and begrudgingly said the Bills were a top 10, but didn't really seem to even want to say that. Mostly receivers had a record high 7 drops and wasn't really that much of the Bills pass D. They just rushed 4 and dropped everyone else into coverage. Made it sound like everyone could simply do that and even said that defensive performance against Rodgers was an anomaly. I don't recall the mans name, however wondered if anyone else heard that (MyHeartRadio) and had the same thoughts as me. Basically, this D ranks per below: 1st INTS 1st Sacks 4th yards/game 4th yards/play How is this not a top 5 D, and the performance against Denver was similar I think re: passing D. Go Bills!!!
  17. Awesome. Thank you also. He's not a starting QB, just for Buffalo. The Bills seem to have a history of pulling backup QBs and trying to make them starters. FYI. Excellent point about Marrone also. I've been wondering how long with the O until the D or someone on that side starts calling out the poor overall play and play calling of the O. It has to happen at some point, unfortunately IMO.
  18. Brown and McLuvin. Oi! http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2014/11/09/mckelvin-and-brown-fumble-as-bumbling-bills-lose-grip-in-17-13-loss-to-chiefs/
  19. San Diego, where I'm at at the moment, could lose this weekend and Buffalo playing Oak. should win. Pick up one spot there?
  20. Swine!!! Was that the McLUvin game?
  21. The K.C. loss, which was a very winnable game is I recall, is looking to be a big one. Buffalo is # 9 in the AFC now according to NFL.com, and K.C. is 2 spots ahead. Was that the "McLuvin game"? http://www.billsdaily.com/gameday/2014/kc/review.shtml
  22. THAT one is certainly going to come back to BITE him!!!
  23. Yes, Kyle Orton is being "Underappreciated Again".
  24. 1BILLSFAN - Really bringing it. Made lot's of interesting points also, IMO. I think the offense is also being held back by Hackett, and should be an average O at least. Again, the Front Office did invest quite heavily on that side of the ball, with some good things, but the O may have even regressed since last year. This is actually hard to believe with the much improved QB play. EJ/Tuel/Lewis? How much worse was last year at QB and how much better did the O perform this year? Not much for the latter... Let's see what happens today on O.
