I don't think you trade away picks for a WR when you clearly don't have a QB who can get them the ball: EJ can't get them the ball.

This + 100 This is also one of the reasons I had issue with Whaley taking Watson, Not that you do, however doesn't matter how great a receiver you are if the QB can't get the ball to anyone. He seems to throw passes down the sidelines OOB also.

Jets had a bunch of 1st round picks on that line I believe, and that line was built so as I recall. Maybe one of the best O lines in the league at the time. Buffalo has one of the worst...

I think the Bills may be drafting linemen by the pound, getting value THAT way!!! Anyone can clearly see the Bills devoting a lot of resources to the O this year, which was needed. It's just hard to see McCoy running behind this line with success and Clay catching the ball if the O line doesn't hold up and give these new skill players a chance...

He was drafted in 2009, making this coming season his 7th season, he may be a little small also at 310 lbs? Could it be time for a replacement??

Although I lack the knowledge and insight of the the OP, I also do believe this team can go as far as the O line will let them, ot take them, and right now it's bascially the same players... I hope Ryan and Roman know something about these O limemen that nobody else does, or it will be a lot of wasted talent and cap space. Also, I recall some point in the past reading the Bills had the largest average O line in the league? if so, these guys weren't selected because they're quick and agile... yes?

AWESOME!!! 1. Pears is/was horrible, and now gone. + 1 2. LG has been an absolute disaster, as we all know. 3. Wood seems to be steadily regressing? 4. Urbik seems much more suited for RG. 5. Glenn took a big step back last year. 6. Henderson was brutal, per the stats but seemed better than that? - Move Urbik back to RG - Why did they let Hairston go? - Draft some more O linemen and better get someone who can play.

Regarding line play: they should be better as Glenn appears to have regressed, Wood wasn't real good, and how much worse could they have been? The only way is UP hopefully...

He has been given a chance, and was terrible. The Bills had no choice but to replace him after the first 4 games last year. He just doesn't throw well, poorly IMO, and some receivers were visibly irritated with him last year as I recall.

Could they actually have issues making payroll?

This will be his 4th draft, 4th season, they have not been more the 4 wins under him, and now they have money issues?
