  1. + 1 I hope they get the O-line figured out somehow, and SOMEBODY steps up at OG position.
  2. Well, I'm glad Ol' Buddy waited for possibly the worst draft class in NFL history to draft his "walk off" shot / franchise QB in E.J. Lesson to rest of NFL: Don't keep putting off drafting a QB when you have nothing, you might get stuck like this.
  3. Tuel - nice!!! I can see why Whaley likes him!!! http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/16237/jeff-tuel Whaley would do better throwing darts blindly at a dart board, than applying any of his or scouting staffs knowledge.
  4. He was MUCH worse than Thad Lewis. Seriously, not good.
  5. Who is Collins???
  6. There are WR taken EVERY year that are Watkins, every year. Possibly several. 1 Buccaneers Jameis Winston QB 2 Titans Marcus Mariota QB 3 Jaguars Dante Fowler DL 4 Raiders Amari Cooper WR 5 Redskins Brandon Scherff OL 6 Jets Leonard Williams DE 7 Bears Kevin White WR Which of these WR guys will have a very good rookie season?
  7. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, + 1 Z
  8. + 1 Bingo. Even Sammy can't be in 2 places at once. He had a good year, but trading up like that... NOT http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/16725/sammy-watkins
  9. Banana - You KNEW you were going to get nailed for that big time!
  10. On a Chevy Vega/Ford Maverick??? LOL. I guess, maybe..
  11. Well, Marrone reportedly did walk out on the draft after the Watkins pick. So he wasn't very happy either.
  12. BillsVet: I think we're in the minority here on this one!!! Wouldn't be the 1st time! I just don't think you build a contender trading away picks. Bandit: Well, that's kind of like buying high perf. 160 mph rated Pirelli s before getting the Porsche?
  13. : ) Right... It's just so much speculation, and he didn't play well last year at ALL, according to almost everyone I've read.
  14. The Bills went 9-7 based on great D and not their receiving game. They had and still have nobody to really get him the ball. I just don't believe you trade away picks to get a receiver in the NFL when ur O line is a mess and you have no QB.
  15. I would think they new regime would be looking to eliminate questions marks on the O line, not create them. Q: CAN Glenn play right guard? I remember they tried him there a bit, but never moved him...
  16. Just looking at the Bills Daily draft, and agree what the Bills may do, however mentioning that the pick would start day 1 is obvioulsy very optimistic as last years # 2 pick never even stepped on the field. o They have Cordy Glenn moving inside. o They have Henderson moving to left side??? o So you basically have at least 3 new position players not including R guard? o And have a 2nd year never played at LT in NFL and rookie at RT? Bills Daily mock -18 ( #50 overall) OT Jake Fisher - Oregon The one main weakness besides quarterback is the offensive line where the team needs another starter and should look for one with their top pick in the draft. Fortunately it is a deep class at tackle and guard. Fisher would step right in probably at right tackle moving Seantrell Henderson to the left side and Cordy Glenn inside to guard. If he's gone they may look to snag the top guard in the draft if Duke's Laken Tomlinson is available. He could stop right in on the inside and they can leave Glenn and Henderson on the outside. Florida State's Tre Jackson or South Carolina's A.J. Cann are also options in the second round at guard.
  17. I hear what ur saying. Which facet of E.J.'s game has developed over the past 2 season? I can see any other than not taking the unnecessary hit?
  18. A. Then they should start him again to begin the season? Yes? B. They seem to be scrambling to bring in Vet FA QB's it seems, and Orton contract made him a very highly paid backup, IMO. I think they haven't quite given up on him yet, but he has show me nothing in terms of improvement or being a # 1 QB. I was just shocked at the poll results. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe a lot of E.J. backers voted.
  19. Oh, OK. He must be on the 4-5 year plan then.
  20. If the Bills F.O. even dreamed that E.J. could go 10 or 11 wins, you think they bring in ALL the QBs they have and sign Kyle Orton, like last year? Or Matt Cassel Seriously?
  21. A combined 46 % of respondents think the Bills will go 10-6 or 11-5 with E.J. at QB?
  22. So, my question is still why does Whaley draft these huge O linemen that can't move to play the Zone scheme that requires agility? I'm just asking, as I don't understand how the drafting can be SO bad on the O line.
  23. NO. not at all. I hope they do. Reason: even with the 3 O linemen drafted last year, the O line is no doubt the weakest unit on the Buffalo team. We don't know if any of the O lineman drafted last year will develop, what the issues are and who will fall out. Also, competition is always a good thing in my book, and someone is going down along the way. The O line was very healthy last year and I would not expect that to occur two years in a row. Chris Williams notwithstanding.
  24. I have to... BTW: I like McLuvin' as the 2015 whipping boy! Used to be Kelsay, but no longer.
