  1. Nachos or some sort of loaded fries option.
  2. Agree. I think this is the most plausible scenario. Wife dies of a medical issue, trying to go for pills. Hackman goes for help quickly and falls and dies. Explains why the one dog wasn’t uncrated.
  3. i ended up finishing it. I get why Hackman himself loved that movie, as his character is really interesting and complicated. But the movie itself is so-so. on my same Hackman kick, I re-watched Mississippi burning. Probably haven’t seen that in 20 years. Just an absolute classic. Up next for me is Unforgiven. Also a movie I probably haven’t seen in over 20 years.
  4. if I am the bills and making that trade, I am having some major wrist guarantees in that contract.
  5. I am going on a Hackman movie binge. Didn’t realize how many classics he was in that I haven’t seen. Started the movie “The Scarecrow,” which I had never seen before.
  6. Apparently they were “very close,” yet she hasn’t seen him in years because he lives way in New Mexico and she lives way over in California!
  7. in my view, the playoffs are all about execution. We seriously are a play here or there from already having multiple SBs. Just have to execute better in the biggest moments.
  8. Except Jordan Phillips made the biggest play at the biggest moment. And our QB had the ball in his hands with a great chance to go and win the game.
  9. This must have been a long simmering anger over the last 6 weeks.
  10. I think everyone guessed carbon monoxide at first. But that can’t be it. Like you said, dog locked in a closet?! then you have both dead people found in different spots of the house. This is definitely not carbon monoxide or a gas leak. I have heard some speculation about a double suicide, but that makes no sense too. Why lock one dog (but not the other two) in the closet for that?
  11. We ranked 32/32 in wrist recovery accessories.
  12. If I am a team in the top 5, I would already be a little skittish of taking yet another undersized speed rusher from penn state. Do they just grow these guys on a tree out there?
  13. https://www.yahoo.com/news/actor-gene-hackman-wife-found-084400257.html this is getting crazy.
  14. Very underrated role he had was in the movie “The Firm.” Really played that part so well!
  15. People need to forget Grant. Literally every team’s local media have identified Grant as their main sleeper if he is there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in the top 10.
  16. Since Tremaine was only 16 years old when he did this, he was in the juvenile division and so is in a different record book.
  17. I think this makes a lot of sense. McBeane has already built nearly their entire offense. Cook would be a nice addition to his handiwork.
  18. calzones have to be a third thread!!
  19. I propose a friendly amendment to your thread. I think we need to know people’s go-to toppings on a “standard” pizza. That is, on a Regular crust, red sauce, shredded mozzarella pizza. That is different than what people like on an unusual or alternative or speciality pie. This is like a secondary category. I am seeing a lot of stuff in this thread like “honey,” “pineapple,” “vegan,” “sun dried tomatoes,” “stuffed crust,” “bbq chicken,” etc. That strikes me as more of the second category above, and is a whole other discussion.
  20. this is the first play I think of when I think of Peters.
  21. I remember when we first signed him. Lot of folks on here (myself included) thought he was the steal of the undrafted guys. Then, we were proven right and he developed into a stud!! And then we lost him!!! So Billsy.
  22. what is Doyle’s story? I do miss having a guy like Nick O’Leary, so the announcers can point out that he is jack Nicklaus’s grandson!
  23. I think it’s a great signal to Cook that we take care of our own.
  24. This is the NFL.com pre-draft report, which is what my expectations also were based on how he was hyped: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/keon-coleman/3200434f-4c29-5571-54fa-77236b775ae1 The former star basketball player has a rebounder’s blend of extension and timing to give jump-ball defenders the blues. He’s big and strong with soft hands, but he can play with a little more aggression in claiming his deep-ball space and getting after it as a run blocker.
