  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?i...e=ESPNHeadlines Well, when you're already on a four-game substance abuse suspension, that's a lot of free time on your hands.......
  2. Is Clements already looking toward next year? He seems even more lackadaisical than usual. The only "play" I remember The Playmaker making yesterday was an ole' move on a Jets receiver, allowing him to continue running down the sideline.
  3. not only Moorman, but you could argue Lindell was also more deserving than Wire. 3 for 3 in FGs, two of them over 40 yds, 1 PAT, 10 Pts scored. but it is nice to have three candidates for any "player of the week" award!
  4. Kelsay said, "Dick Jauron is a great man and a great coach. He is a players coach. He puts us in a position to win. Everyone in this locker room respects him. And I'll leave it at that." wow!
  5. I don't care for Kornheiser either. I think he's trying too hard to be funny, and I really don't care about his fantasy football team. Also, I was happy when they announced the earlier start times for MNF games this year, but last night's game didn't even kickoff until about 8:45. They have a half-hour pregame show, so why delay the kickoff? And I could do without camera shots of the fans in the stands after every single play, and "celebrities" stopping by the announcing booth. other than that I like it /end rant/
  6. Also, they've changed the "blue laws" and you can now purchase beer after 8:00AM on Sunday in NYS rather than waiting until noon. I saw a sign in Tops! http://www.nacsonline.com/NACS/News/Daily_...6/nd0801063.htm
  7. but what about that "competitive advantage" we enjoyed last year when we were mysterious about who was the starting QB?
  8. it's also listed on WKBW's website on their schedule grid for Sat nite
  9. He's great for nicknames too: currently: "The Hefty Lefty" formerly: "He Ate Me"
  10. wait a minute -- what about that "competitive advantage"? should we be tipping our hand so soon? [j/k]
  11. especially on game day
  12. well, it's been a long day for Strahan [add fake English accent].......
  13. "A caption on the site says: “If this works my missus has promised me a threesome.” Maybe the missus wants a threesome involving another guy? that would be funny!
  14. Just to clarify, it's been reported that McKee actually has a staph infection. Those are pretty serious. The usual playoff secrecy led the Sabres to describe it as "illness."

  16. pun intended?
  17. my new favorite all time post
  18. In years past, some creative TBDers have offered their homemade Bills schedules to the rest of us. But I don't see one pinned here this year -- is it because of the uncertainty of the coming move of the team?
  19. dammit, i wish i hadn't gotten rid of that old Price jersey!
  20. RW - I am not considering selling the team.
  21. thanks - they just had an update on GR also.
  22. where is the 12:45 PC? they still have Jim Rome on GR550 and Rush Limbaugh on WBEN.
  23. no offense, but that's a little misleading. prior to the budget cutbacks, Erie County had the most libraries, per capita, of any community in North America. this was reported extensively during the county budget fiasco. a declining population couldn;t continue to support all those libraries.
