  1. I posted this earlier, but I'm afraid it might get buried in the thread. I found this online yesterday: "The Heart Gallery has set up a fund for those who want to help Danielle's new family. Checks can be sent to: The Heart Gallery -- Danielle Lierow Fund, 1002 E. Palm Ave., Tampa, FL 33605. Also, a fund has been set up for Danielle's long-term care. Donations can be sent to: Danielle Lierow, c/o Mr. Doy McPhail, Wachovia Bank, 7128 Estero Blvd., Ft. Myers Beach, FL 33931. "

I did a quick search, and also found this online: http://blogs.tampabay.com/talk/2008/08/outraged-sadden.html "The Heart Gallery has set up a fund for those who want to help Danielle's new family. 4. Well, back from vacation, and my couple of days in Pittsburgh were really great. I won;t bore you with all the details, so here is the Cliff Notes version - First night - Duquesne Incline. Amazing views which turned into some decent photographs, hampered only by the photographer (me). Drinks and food and watched the Pirates lose at Redbeard's on Shiloh. More drinks at the Square. Second day - Strip Section - street vendors, shops, etc. Got a Pirates shirt and an Iron City beer t-shirt and tried to avoid the overwhelming Steelers merchandise. Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum - amazing stuff in here. One of the highlights of the trip. Drove to Washington PA for a Washington Wild Things baseball game. It was Chris Sidick Bobblehead Night! I don;t really know who Chris Sidick is, but I hope he has a Hall of Fame career in the majors so my bobblehead becomes a collector's item. (More drinks here too) Third day - Riverwalk. Clemente Bridge. Day tour of PNC Park (well worth the $6) Pirates Game at night ( they actually won!). More Iron City beer. In short, Pittsburgh is a great city to visit - everyone we encountered was friendly, and there is lots of interesting stuff to do.

  6. I'm going to a Pirates game next. Does anyone have any recommendations for other activities there? The area I'm staying in is East Carnegie (I think). Thanks.

  22. "Jones had tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, an action known in street slang as "making it rain." When one of the strippers started grabbing the money without Jones' permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage, Susnar said. That's when security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and stopped the assault, he said. "At that point, Pacman said, 'I'm going to kill you,'" Susnar said. A melee ensued as Cudworth scuffled with Jones and members of his entourage, Susnar said. Order was eventually restored, and everyone was moved outside. That's when the gunman opened fire toward the front door of the club, hitting Cudworth, security guard Tom Urbanski and a female customer. "He goes out, retrieves a gun, then shoots two security guards, pretty much making good on the threat made by Pacman Jones," Susnar said. Cudworth, who was shot in the chest and arm, was released from University Medical Center on Tuesday. Urbanski remained at UMC in critical condition. He was expected to live, but a bullet severed his spine and paralyzed him below the waist, his father said." unbelievable.
