  4. Brian Billick
  5. Long overdue, of course. but YIPEE!
  6. Technically, he did touch Young once. Or, more accurately, Young touched him - VY stiff armed Kelsay like he was a little kid chasing a grown up.
  7. i have a husky, but she's small for a husky so I think she is mixed with something else. got from a rescue place, so i don't know too much about her background, but if anyone can guess what other breeds she is, here is a pic: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2ztemps&s=4
  8. thanks for the reminder. it will be music all afternoon for me. it is mindboggling......

  13. Apparently, this was the most-watched World Series in 5 years: "World Series television ratings in the United States are at their highest levels in five years. The New York Yankees' 8-5 win over Philadelphia on Saturday night in Game 3 received a 9.1 rating and an 18 share, Fox said Sunday. A rating reflects the percentage of the total U.S. population of televisions tuned to a particular program while share reflects the percentage of televisions actually in use."
  14. that's what i thought while watching the game also. the interference penalty on the punt, the dropped pass on the final drive, and then maynard trying to run for 18(?) yards - those all looked like mistakes the Bills would make. I hope we're not pulling Turner Gill down to our level!
  15. Yes, we're becoming a UFL feeder team.
  16. FYI - just got a text update that Trent Edward is definitely out for the Texans game. Apparently DJ's press conference was held earlier today than is normal (11AM versus 12:30). Any else get this update?
  17. Thursday update: Edwards not at practiceTrent Edwards was again absent from practice Thursday as the Bills continue their preparation for Sunday's game in Carolina. That makes it even more likely that Ryan Fitzpatrick will make his first start with the Bills. Also absent from practice Thursday were Shawn Nelson, Xavier Omon and Jonathan Scott. Coach Dick Jauron said Nelson had a concussion after the Jets game, but he's listed on the injury report as having an illness. Scott is still out with an ankle injury, while we'll have to find out about Omon when the Bills are done practicing. Not practicing but in attendance were Kyle Williams (shoulder), Donte Whitner (ankle) and Chris Kelsay (eye). Terrence McGee (knee) and Bryan Scott (ankle) were practicing on what appeared to be a limited basis. ---Jay Skurski http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/200...t-practice.html
  18. didn't see this posted here http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills_and_n...rolina_20091021 Edwards not likely to play in Carolina Updated: Wednesday, 21 Oct 2009, 1:27 PM EDT Published : Wednesday, 21 Oct 2009, 1:15 PM EDT ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Trent Edwards was not at practice at Ralph Wilson Stadium today. Ryan Fitzpatrick was on the field instead, taking snaps. Fitzpatrick took over for Edwards on Sunday when Edwards suffered a concussion during the 2nd quarter. It seems more likely today that the concussion will keep Edwards off the field this week when the Bills play the Panthers. Donte Whitner (ankle), Terrence McGee (chest), Kyle Williams (shoulder) and Shawn Nelson (concussion) also did not practice today. James Hardy was back practicing for the first time since he was placed on reserve last month following an offseason knee surgery. The Bills now have 3 weeks to add him to the roster. The Bills won on Sunday against the Jets in overtime. The Bills play the Panthers in Charlotte, NC this Sunday at 4 p.m.
  19. if we bump this up often enough, can we make it come true?
  20. Boredom? honestly, the Sabres are not the most exciting team to watch. They don't hit, rarely score, and play a defense-first system.
  21. Brian Billick is out there too.
  22. that will definitely be the lasting image after he is gone. and the sooner the better. A housecleaning is in order. do it now while there is a number of viable, successful, experienced coaches available, and before other teams come to similar conclusions about their coaches.
  23. definitely. A housecleaning is in order. do it now while there is a number of viable, successful, experienced coaches available, and before other teams come to similar conclusions about their coaches.
  24. you really think he'll quit on his own at $3MM per year?
