  4. I was at that game also. I specifically remember it because the beer vendor in our section tried to entice sales by yelling "Celebrate the Bills being favored!!!" which I thought was funny at the time.

  8. from SI PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) -- Terrell Owens was not present for the Buffalo Bills' morning walkthrough two days after the receiver complained about a sore toe following the team's preseason opener. Coach Dick Jauron would only say Tuesday morning that Owens was excused from practice, but declined to say why. Jauron said he would update reporters after the Bills' night practice. Owens complained about an aching toe in a comment posted on his Twitter.com site shortly after the Bills lost to Tennessee, 21-18, in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, on Sunday. Owens had two catches for 27 yards in his Bills debut, and played one series as did most of the team's offensive starters. Owens did not mention the toe injury to reporters after the game. 16. http://www.krqe.com/dpp/news/strange/offbe...5112009_2397420 "NEW YORK - Gary Dell'Abate, longtime producer of Howard Stern's radio shows, threw out the first pitch for the New York Mets in their Saturday game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Dell'Abate, known to Stern fans by the nickname "Baba Booey," took to the mound to raise money for autism awareness, but he mostly seems to have raised awareness of his poor pitching abilities. Newsday called the pitch "one of the most unathletic things I've ever seen from a grown man," and other media outlets have joined in the pile-on. In a video posted to YouTube , Dell'Abate is seen pacing nervously before the pitch. As Bitten and Bound put it , "the second shows why he was so nervous -- because he has no athletic ability to speak of...or so it would seem." Dell'Abate reportedly consulted with a sports psychologist before the pitch, but that wasn't enough to prevent him from throwing what the NY Daily News called "the most embarrassing ceremonial first pitch in baseball history." Still, Dell'Abate, a longtime Mets fan, can take consolation in one thing: The Mets beat the Pirates 10-1."

  19. I can't comment from personal experience, as I left another bank just before it was acquired by BOA. My former co-workers have had mixed things to say about working there. I did find this online however: http://www.jobvent.com/companyBrowse.php?CompanyID=440 Good luck, either way!
  20. Me too, unfortunately they also have Marshall Faulk.....
  21. Philly? Washington? How about Chicago - I hear they got a new QB. "The Anquan Boldin sweepstakes officially have begun. The Arizona Cardinals announced yesterday that, while they haven't put a "for sale" sign on their unhappy, three-time Pro Bowl wideout, they are listening to trade offers for him." http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/sports/200...for_Boldin.html
