  1. All the flack seems warranted, this seems to be a pretty weak post. I can't think of any Bills fan over the age of 10 who isn't aware of everything mentioned in the OP. Pessimism creeps in on all of us, still on Sunday I turn on the game, move to the edge of my seat, and expect to win. When I'm grumpy and pessimistic pregame, I think it'll be time to find better thing to do on Sunday.
  2. Yes indeed. I'm very excited to watch him play for at least one more year. Pretty much the only shining light on a pretty awful D. Reakwon (??) Seems promising, I was very excited when he committed to OSU earlier this year. Its not often when one of Sabans coveted gets away.
  3. Romo seems very image conscious and probably boring, Orton likes to party HARD, I can see how conflict might arise.
  4. Sorry can't answer the poll, just too early. I love the way Sammy's playing, but I need a larger sample size. My choice wouldn't have anything to do with what is on the board when the Browns use our pick, cuz you just can't hypothesize what the Bills would have done there, but I do need to see more Sammy, Ebron, and Benjamin.
  5. Can't say much about Fox, but CBS's guys are mostly awful. Its shocking how mediocre guys at this level are these days. The top crews for fox (Buck/Aikman) and CBS (Gumbal/Simms) are abysmal. There are crews doing late west coast feeds of CFB that are better.
  6. I'd still very much like to have him back at fair price, but I think that's doubtful at this point.
  7. Oh how I hate the blue pants, win or not, its beyond me how anyone can like them
  8. I have to believe he has it in him. But he means too much $ to the league, no way they let him go down. I bet after testing begins, his performance drops significantly.
  9. Ugh... Those photos are something else. None of this is what I expected this season. As a tribe fan, this reminds me very much of the movie major league. Let's hope the end result resembles it as well.
  10. Now that you mention it, I'll keep a close eye on this. The truth is both their careers are probably f'd at this point.
  11. What happens when Orton plays poorly? Seriously, for the folks who cried for this, what then? My guess is that those folks will pretend they never said any of those things, and will know exactly who we need to draft, and when that guy falters, say they always knew he sucked. It must be great to sit behind a keyboard and never be held responsible for concrete decisions. Have I fairly summed up the last 15 years of this board for many posters here (not all, I know)?
  12. I think no matter who it was we'd run him out. We've all seen the early stat lines of QB's we all salivate over, their never good. I agree that EJ had major issues, but in a lot of cases you just have to live with those and hope they keep learning. Maybe after a large enough sample size, you move on, but this IS much too early. There was no patience this time, somebody's head had to roll. We may win more games because of this move, but its inarguable that we now have no future at the qb position. Orton is only a stop gap and sustained success won't be with him. Sad, just sad.
  13. Like a nightmare that won't end. I'm watching Bills QB play at both ends.
  14. Ugh... Not what anyone needed. I'm very tired of the JJ worshiping. Great we'll get what a great player he is jammed even further down our throats!
  15. At least this EJ bashing thread has an entertaining element to it.
  16. I'm obviously not going to be able to come back to this board until after the next win.
  17. Eball, my best wishes to you and your family. I hope for a speedy recovery.
  18. Erie PA getting Browns instead of Bills is a killer for me here in NE Ohio. The only Buffalo station I can pick up over the lake is 23 I think, which is CW. I can get some Canadian stations on a clear day. Anyone got a link to a Canadian viewing map?
  19. Man I really want this kid to work out. Off the field, he's everything you want, and works hard on his craft. If it somehow doesn't work out, it won't be for lack of effort, or stupidity. Go EJ.
  20. They've definitely believed that they could get away with lesser wr corps for the last few years, I can't see how that works as it coincides with Brady's decline.
  21. Deadspin reposted an article from '86 about Jim Brown. There were many references to domestic violence in his past. I firmly believe that when the media wants to push an agenda, these things are easy to get, because they are always there (and always have been).
