Personally, I think Bradford will be the "best value" QB on the market. He improved his accuracy throughout his career. He is athletic enough and smart enough but probably not durable enough to run sets with RPO's. With this type of contract, he essentially replaces Tyrod's cap number and at 30 years old, it takes away the pressure to bundle picks to move up. I think with a good running game, a better pass protecting right tackle and right guard he can thrive. Here's his injury history. I think he can speed the Bills progress if he stays healthy. I have one daughter who is a UNC-Chapel Hill grad and one who is a freshman at UNC-W. The freshman loves UNC-W. All the kids are Bills fans (they caught the disease). She was bummed she missed Beane when I told her today. As for tuition--SteveWin is dead on. I pay less for UNC-W than I did for Catholic High School. I got a break!

Brandon put together a really accomplished team thanks to some Pegula bucks. We will lose folks every year to promotions. I am hoping the Bills can keep Lake, Joe Schoen, Terrance Gray and Malik Boyd for next year after losing Brian Gaine. Its nice to know we have 5 people in the front office who teams would consider for their GM role (including Brandon). They are all young, creative, and there seems to be very good chemistry with McD. I had a friend hanging out in Mobile this week who made it a point to text and tell me he was extremely impressed with how our coordinators and the personnel staff engage. He said there is always tension in these relationships but the Bills staff (Coaching and Personnel) get along really well. Genuinely like and respect one another and it starts with a really productive relationship between the coach and the GM. He heard from players that their Bills interviews were the best. Thought I would share. Kirby and others would know more than me..but I did feel good after the text exchange.

Just not equipped to handle it. I was in Buffalo between Christmas and New Years and drove a lot -- its nothing to drive in the snow in WNY because the main roads are constantly being cleared and treated, folks know how to use low gear and be cautious on side streets and because its below freezing most days there's not as much of the black ice/freeze-thaw-refreeze issue. Today's a perfect example of Southerners dealing with snow...a lot of thawing as the temp got above freezing with a lot of sunlight...but no treatment during the day-- temp goes down below 20 and its hockey rinks for streets in the AM. Consequently, schools are now out for the third straight day....
